I'm trying out Jim Laheys no-knead bread recipe.

Stupid easy/cheap. I'll post a pic tomorrow if it turns out alright.

Dough was too wet and gloopy. Tweaking the recipe for a 2nd try. They say baking bread is a trial and error game. Kinda reminds me of when I started making bubble hash.
Supposed to be wet and gloopy ;)

After the over night rise I fold it over with floured hands and "pour" it into a large bowl with parchment paper.

Then use the paper to help slide it into the preheated dutch oven !

Came out better this time. Problem was with the first attempt, it wasn't holding its shape at all after the folding like in the tutorial video I watched.

Jim Lahey!?i must of been so drunk i dont recall coming up with a recipe!gonna need another drinky poo to refresh my memory! lol

A few hours would be more than enough, but I figured overnight in a crock pot on low would do a better job at extracting the collagen from the bones.
right.i need to start doing this.dumb question but do you use all the bones?how to you get them all out a mesh filter or something?sorry i just woke up
