Vaporizers?

Are there detailed instructions on this repair somewhere on the web?

Not that I know of.
Unplug the unit, take off the 3 allen-head nuts holding the cover on. Then you can see how the switch is hooked up. Replace it with a new one, using the same wiring as the first switch.

You don't need to take off the temp dial, but the cover needs to tilt a little to remove, and the dial stays with the unit.
There is a ground wire on the cover but you don't have to remove it for the repair.

One word, VaporBrothers, the only way to go. I have the dark coffee hands-free with ceramic heating element. It heats up in about a minute or two, I can just leave it on for hours and whenever I feel like it take a fat rip and it only takes like a quarter of what I normally fill a pipe bowl with to get me even more stoned then a fat bowl if I smoke it. I still will smoke with my friends but if I'm alone or with one other person the vap is the only thing I use. And I had my buddy make me a custom mouthpiece so it looks sweet.

I've got an iolite also. Just used it on super silver haze about 1 hour ago. Can hardly type this. Was mesmerized by the itunes visualizer earlier.

i love my vaporizer ... all glass vapor path, battery powered -- runs for 5 vape sessions (7 minutes per session with auto shutoff) per charge, computer temperature control, green LED signals "take a toke":

looks sweet but also looks like something Ted Kazynksy (Unabomber) would have.

i like the iolite as it's discreet.

here is a guy going through all 6 of his vaporizers vg gave the fattest hits he even shows how he didnt burn it. iolite gave almost no visible vapor. for the price thats unacceptable. i dont care what you say . yea i can vape with my ssv on a real low setting and feel an effect with no visible vapor but then i turn up the heat and the effects arent even comparable. if you dont like the taste of butane( not an issue with high quality butane) use beeline or hempwick. blah but to each his own, i guess. if i spent that much on a crap vaporizer id defend it to , no offense.

it is overpriced but it looks like an iphone.

the vapor brothers hot box gets me the best hits. the iolite is fine just takes ten minutes to smoke a bowl.

My boldest move with the iolite was at a casino in Mahnomen. I went to the crapper to let it warm up and got the idea to sit at the bar and pretend it was a cell phone. I was taking hits off it for a good 30 minutes and nobody had a clue as to what I was doing. Brilliant piece of equipment! I've never tried any other vaporizers, so I can't compare it. I do agree that it's sometimes an annoyance to have to wait 10 minutes for it to warm up.

I have a vapor genie, best 50 bux I ever spent.

I had a volcano too, it's not worth 450 bux more than the vapor genie, unless you have 450 to blow.

Agree. I rarely use my Volcano anymore except for group sessions. The air to vapor ratio is not up to par with my other vapes.

www.arizer.com has the "Extreme",and it kicks ass.
Afom got me one somewhere as a b-day gift last year, and it's far better than the Volcano, for less than 1/2 the price.
(At $300USD for the Extreme, shipped, vs. between $550-$675USD + shipping for a Volcano Digi,!)
It does bags, passive draws, and fan-forced hits (with 3 speeds!) and a timer, and precise, digital temp control (in C/F) and comes with an IR remote control, which is useful, believe it or not. LED-lit base and LCD screen are nice touches, also.

Cheers!

Nice REZ , I also use the Extreme and have been very happy with it , infact a friend gets a great deal from the manufacturer by ordering 2 or more at at time . Now everyone in my circle has one or two and no complaints yet .

Im my family we have two Extremes and one Iolite. We love them.

You can't beat the Iolite. I've used it at hotel pools and in bars. I've had no troubles so far after about 1/2 year.

The Extreme is great also. I like the bags; my daughter likes to roll with the whip. And, yes, the remote is useful, what pot smoker wouldn't dig the remote. The Extreme is also somthing you can leave out in your living room with no questions asked. I've had my etreme for more than a year.

Green Supreme

Our friend that created the Hotglass Vape has created a new one. I have yet to try it but this man is a vapor connisseur and I don't see him putting out something less than awesome. Check it , I hear Bubbleman sells them on his new glass site. Peace GS
