The cool thing, is that they added the Skunk Pharm listing because of all the calls they were getting.

Bob tells me that there has been a steady flow of valve sets out the door, so the number of Lil Terps and Terpenators grows steadily from folks building their own.

Glad to hear it. Hopefully the amount of clean meds grows steadily with it.

I still need the following:

-6" spool(or 8" I guess)
-column(I ordered a 1.5x24, but am open to other sizes)
-concentric reducer(w/ 1/4" NPT Male on side)
-end cap adapter
-tri-clamp buna-n 20 mesh screen gasket(2)
-6" tri-clamp
-1.5" PTFE gasket

If I could get any of those through you Gray Wolf, it would be most appreciated.

Ummm, two thoughts.

I'm not a IC Mag vendor, and don't conduct business on their site, in violation of TOU.

While a part of WolfWurx, we are more focused on the commercial industry and don't stock parts for, or build anything under 10".

I've previously mentioned RB as a possible source, but for additional resources, I suggest that you also check BrewersHardware.com and Specializedformulations.com, both of whom do stock the parts.

Paramount can get some of them for you from Dixon, but at a premium price.

I'm not a part of Specialized Formulations, but now that they get their parts from the same direct Chinese source as WolfWurx and Redbeard, instead of at a premium price from Glacier Tank, they are ostensibly now in a better position to be competitive.

Don't know where you live, but they also do an extensive extraction for hire business, using everything from a Mk I through the latest Mk IVB, making everything from Holy Shit cancer meds, to vaporization shatter and waxes, and offer tutoring services to others wishing to do so as well.

If you want both equipment and in depth hands on operating instructions, you might investigate them as a possible resource.

If you are going to use PTFE gaskets, I recommend high pressure clamps at those locations.

I would also look for a Viton screened gasket if I was planning to clean it between uses in alcohol.

I am in Colorado. Could I fly out there for some lessons? Do you have to have purchased a unit from SF to do so?

I did want to fly out for a SPR class, but those are strictly for WA patients, right?

Sorry to be a bother GW,

Should I stick with the ptfe gaskets and get high pressure clamps or should I keep the regular clamps and switch to viton(or buna-n, still not sure which is better for our situation)?

This is the site I found the high pressure clamps on. Seems they have a fair selection of sanitary stuff. Any opinion on these guys?

^there is the viton screen gaskets. That has to be for a set of two or something right? My Buna-n gasket from glacier was 13 and they want 26 for the same one. Should I find a different site?

Thanks again!

high pressure are needed most on big spools or when using ptfe gaskets. If you using Viton, you are good with regular or 2 pin clamps.

I've used gvc before in a pinch, but they are expensive.

I meant which route is better? Is the ptfe necessary for dry ice temps? If not, would it just be better to save money and get viton + regular clamps?

Agreed Lono. High pressure are inconvenient but necessary. Hate chimeing in when I wasen't addressed. However mostly wanted to say hello because I have been present and following. I can see how serious this is to you.
I apologize for the unsuitable things you have had to read here on your thread.Inappropriate!
Good luck with your rig bro. Let me know if I can extend a hand. Done.

Thanks waywardwolf! I really appreciate that!
Best of luck to you and wolfwurx! Can't wait to see it rollin' :)

A little update...

So far I have everything except the following:
(1) Low Loss 6″ Hose with Ball Valve, or Inline Compact Valve(1) Recovery Pump (preferable r600 compatible)
(1) Set of Gas Line Hoses, (4) 1/4″ x60″, (1) 3/8″ x60″ SAE Flare Fittings
(1) Pressure (PSI)/Vacuum (inHg) Compound Refrigerant Recovery Gauge (Blue Lowside Only)

I ordered the high pressure clamps today. Just shopping around for the best deal on a pump and the hoses. Ready to spend another $1400 though I guess :/...don't want to cut any corners.

Thanks to everyone that has helped! Very excited to get started :)

Cheers!

Skunk Pharm Research will teach anyone with a medical card, regardless of state, but you need an Oregon OMMP card to sample the results.

We lost our lease and are still looking for another affordable venue. We've found space, but they will significantly add to the cost of tuition, so we've only done a few small private classes since the first of the year.

SF is a stand alone LLC, whose relationship to SPR is that the owner is one of SPR's business partners. Not only does SF function separately from SPR, they strongly insist on freedom from interference.

Besides equipment, they tutor and extract for hire. Most of the oil that SPR has supplied cancer and end of life patients in the last couple of years has been extracted, formulated, and donated by SF.

Depends on use. Viton works well until you get below around -30C.

If you use PTFE, you need high pressure clamps.

The source looks fine.

You are basically all set. The mentioned are inexpensive minus the pump. Recovery is a tough decision. Fundamental though. Because of legal and the whole plausible deniablilty issues just in case someone got hurt. I can only recommend the Haskel at the moment. I have safely used several others though. Just can tell you that you can.
Keep us posted please.

Thanks for the well wishes. Don't know where you are but maybe we will bump into each other one day. In which case I will buy you some food if wanted. Peace.
