average price here for the g is £10 is been like it for quite a while. I remember the average price being £120 an oz. ridiculous prices atm. on the plus side ive not seen anything being sold wet for long time now. I know that's not the case everywhere though.

That wet shit continues up here with most folk, that or half grown shit and the longer people continue to buy it the longer the growers will keep producing it like that.

Some people think that if it smells and is green then it's ready to smoke.

Worse is when they stick it next to a vent fan or very worst hairdryer. Really screws it up and makes it crumbly. and if they didn't wait to dry it they certainly didn't cure it. I briefly started buying a few months ahead so that by the time I came to vape it it'd have been sufficiently cured.

But the prices don't really allow that.

kinda funny really because an 8th was called a henry because it used to cost a tenner. now a ''hen'' is £30 lol

Yeah well :p if we'd just said "hen rhymes with ten" then we'd have had to change "Henry VIII" (henry the eighth) to "Henry 0.8g (approx depending on dealer)" and he was a decidedly less famous historical figure, despite his seemingly more interesting name.

By which I mean I don't think the basis of the slang was "Hen" = "Ten" ;)

Yeah hen is short for Henry VIII as in an 8th of an oz, 3.5 g

I always prefered a farmers personally.

I like the new slang for tenner a gram.... Tongue n groove.

I've heard people say "Quarter with Cheese" meaning "Quarter of cheese", it's hardly the most sophisticated code but I guess the legal defence is "I thought I was ordering a burger".

Wouldn't work at all with any other strain families, not unless mcdonalds starts selling the "Mc Haze" or "Kush Happy Meal".

right I get ya.. the henry the 8th thing makes sense.
I dunno the old prices were so much better. £10 for 16th, £20 for the 8th. even then it seemed expensive. but it worked out much better.

I would never pay £10 a gram. id rather go cold turkey.
