Ha this thead inspired me i have been so buzy lately trying get some cash but now i have a plasma and an apache tech LED in my grow, i havent updated in like a week tho been to buzy but cant wait to see this led+plasma combo, how many watts are you pulling

I love the look of the room. Would you recommend the Kessils..? You seem pleased from what I'm reading here.

They just might be what I need to "pin down" the corners of my canopy surrounding my ES330.

I am not sure I can recommend the Kessils just yet. I am very impressed by the light they throw, for example, they will turn a whole room crazy red if you aim one at the wall instead of the ceiling. Ultimately though, I really need to see a couple rounds come out before I can recommend them. Even then, it will be hard to say which light did what.

I forsee like, 6 months from now or a little longer, after I've done a few rounds and know what to expect, then I could replace the Kessils with alternate lights and see the effect.

Or maybe the plasma moves into my hps tent and we see just what the Kessils can do alone.

Regardless, until we get there, I don't know how to recommend the Kessils over another product even if they have tickled my fancy.

This is one very well thought-out setup Mr. Bojangles! Have absolutely everything covered as far as I can see so anything else on top is just gravy. Tent looks so good I think I would want to live in it haha.

thats awesome, im running the plasma and a Apache Tech Rb led its coming out with 300w lep + 156w Led so = 456w thanks for the inspiration to use a led instead of hid. your post maybe me think and spend some $$$ ,my local store doesnt work with hydrofarm so i couldnt get a kessil but ended up with this led seems good so far, how far do you have your lights from canopy? also your plants look amazing.!

Sweet dude, good luck! Prolly best we don't all have Kessils anyways for comparison sake.

I keep the lights about a foot from the canopy. For spread on the plasma, as it can do 3x3 or 4x4 depending on height, and with the Kessils they are more like spotlights than a typical led panel, so they need the distance too.

I will likely never try this plasma light alone in flower, as it is meant for supplemental lighting for flower or solo use in veg because of the drop off in red spectrum.

When this round is finished, I think the plasma will proceed directly to my HPS flowering tent, inbetween 2 big lights. Hopefully get some of the explosive trich development and stocky growth in there that I'm seeing in here.

Thanks man. Not sure how much weight these things are going to pack on though, I'm seeing a lot of nugs but most are small and chunky so I am having trouble coming up with even an internal estimate.

Thanks zilla! Yeah man, these plants are straight frosted. Was just typing a second ago I'm pretty unsure about the yield thing, but I really do feel like it will be the best cannabis I've ever grown due to the explosive trich development.

The hps tent is 2k, so yeah, will prolly throw it in the middle once this run finishes up. I want that stocky growth and baller trich development in there. Especially the reduction in stretch, as I grow in tents and head-room is hard to come by, so perhaps with the LEP in there I can train a bit less aggressively and have a more uniform canopy.

The plasma is more like a hps bulb in that there is one source of light and the reflector handles the task of spreading it out.
