when I said that it was a sort of questionable statement...heh...
but hell I'll get into this a bit more....
Im with the idea of using what works best as a few here are sayin....no matter who makes it...
and atm with the latest line up from AN Im trying now, Im getting bout the same as Im going for all the traits i want to see expressed from the plants...I am mixing lines and companies tho as other are...
but I can def bag on a few of AN's lines and in no way do I even use their feed charts....heh...
I go by pure plant response and I can show a ton of varieties under these lines...
We've used a few of their lines so heres my take..and this is with a good 4-5 ppl, diff methods and varieties so most were tested perty well and then if 1 guy didnt dig the results we'd pass the line to another who might get better or sometimes worse....Im sure others here work in groups who do a similar means of testing nute lines..
Iguana Juice wasn't bad far as growing but flav and end result lacked "things"....and it was one of the most $$ lines to use...
Same issue with their Connisour line but its a lil better on flav...we didnt test that allot tho...
Seen and had great results with the MotherEarth line...really nice results..can be tricky to use as its teas...
older Sensi line is good but we added a few extras..
FinalPhase seems like over kill...a good flush works just fine..
When I was talkin about An catering to Canna I just feel it seems to cause if you look at the ingredients their exactly what Canna wants..Specially in their micro which seems to be the only micro nute seriously based to work direct with canna...Look at its label..
BigBud is good but it can blow out buds if over used...HammerHead wan;t bad but its also a bit hot to use..and both are a bit to high$$ for what they do...
GH's micro is similar to ANs micro but I like the way ANs works better which could be that quality issue..
Im using their pH-P Grow and Bloom line but at times I still use a acid buffer so their pH perfect isn't exactly perfect here..
I dig their BudBlood for a pre-bloom and resin booster..
but also BudBlaster or OpenSesame works as well..
Im not diggin the B part of the pH-P line tho after mid bloom cause it is a bit heavy in N at a 2-4-8 npk....so I switch out to overdrive to finish..
Their carb products are a bit $$...the Budcandy tho is a combo of Sweetleaf and carbo or something like that so its not bad cause you get 2 + aminos and other goodies...kinda diggin the bud candy..
but also I do feel to much AN use gives this very mercial acrid afghan over tone in mainly smell during grow stages and sometimes late into bloom..Seems to fade out at flush n late bloom but I add some organics to help this weird part of it..This is not a horrible thing but same time I want true pungent tones and it can make some strains seem quite similar..
guess the thing is with AN is combining the right ones..

Im not a fan of GH either...

Hugetom, bro, as stated, I can do what ANY grower here can do with the entire AN lineup, with a 16.00 bag of maxibloom and a dialed environment...

Jbones but if its a inert medium than your gana need more than a bloom base...I could mix a good soil mix, mostly water and feed maxibloom for blooming but thats only 1 method...I used KoolBloom liq and it worked well but blew out colas on a few types..also how would you pre-charge coco?...plus inert with only Maxi would lack quite a bit IMO..no carbs no nothing?...

Im down to post some pics of my GH runs...and Im using ANs pHP line now so if any want to see them I'll post some..
I had decent results with GH as said...didnt use maxi tho...I used what would be closer to the Lucas formula but I gave it a shot of FloraNovaBloom early to start, shot of KoolBloom in between then switched to FloraBloom to finish...and it was a damn good finish Ive got pics of that run as well..
Im using Subculture M atm...Heres another view..really with both they offer ways to devise your own formulas at a decent cost..GH is cheaper and can be more user friendly..An is a lil more but can have more options for the nerd farmer....
So Ive actually tested both Lucas vs AN and its close...matter fact so close its really user pref...I liked some better done in the GH lines and some better run with AN tho to...if ya get what I mean...gl..

Great post, thank you!

In canna coco, the only def's I get can be controlled with a bit of epsom salts, and that is rare..

Carbs serve no function in my grow except when brewing caps teas..

Maxibloom is the lucas formula!!!!! 8-9 grams in RO water depending on the strain im feeding.. 7 grams per gallon tap provided taps ppm is around 200..

Now, the only thing I do differently is use beneficials.. And part of my plants health can only be attributed to this.. I brew up caps bennies with molasses and castings and brew for about 36 hrs, the stuff is liquid gold... twice a week they get an unholy amount of bacteria/fungi, if you dont know about Caps bennies yet, you will soon enough... Ditch the subculture trust me, used to use that back in the day till I got on extreme gardening, but even that is old news..

I dont "charge" the coco, I use it outa the bag bro, feed em and watch em ball out...

ok I get what your into Jbonez....nice method and sure you use low carbs as its still in that molasses..just very low amounts..really the carbs in that is what is charging your brew as well and makin it so active as its the glucose prob feeding those microbes...least how I know them to act..When I brew tho I dont sweat the lid and all that..I just used a 5gal and got my bubble on...I really like Alaskan Fish for a N charge as well on big N eating Indica heavy feeders..
I used Bcuzz tho instead of Canna coco...Bcuzz is as stable to but more $$...I should try Canna coco as Ive heard good on it..
But your method makes sense now cause its the N EWC, + coco for your base...your brewing the EWC right and its not a amendment to the coco?...which is smart cause its avail faster then the castings breaking down naturally...
Thing is its not much on either GH or AN tho....your showing a personal method..not 1 based on GH or AN...
where is the MaxiBloom in that pic?...heh...
but curious on those Bennies..Im guessin the Nute pk is food..Root pack is prob a P booster...is that last 1 Foliar?....
but you see what I mean...I dig you r method but its perty slim on usage of either GH or AN...
I used to be a coco nut tho...and still love the stuff...

You couldnt be more wrong on Caps products you saw in my pic, lol....

Root pack- Beneficial bacteria, highest variety and concentrate of cultures per bag and hands down decimates any other attempt.

Nute pack- Bacteria that are targeting N specifically, as well as the other benefits of breaking down dead or decaying excess root, ect..

Foliar- highest variety and highest spore count of any product on the market when it comes to fungi.. They work in a symbiotic relationship with the root system and can kill pests, yes kill... You cant get fruit nats for very long with the right concentration..

Best part is the price... Im not gonna post that, but research "capulators beneficials" verbatim and click the first link and see why some of us are taking growing to the max with this gold...

As for my methods, Ill post a pic of maxibloom in my journal Im starting tonight in the vert section, bear with me, its a work in progress and I am ready to bloom in a week or so...

Just saw someone earlier today posting about MPB named Capulator using 2 x 1800 gph recirc plus 1800 gph top feed and wanting more for his 3 lb trees.

I wasn't trying to be right or wrong there Jbonez...have no idea what those are...I was sorta just guessing....and why I said,,,
"I'll guess".....heh.....wrong in saying what?....your using organics to function with actives..This has little to do with either GH or AN since their salt based...
If you made a bene-bacti-fungus more active organic Lucas method it would be kewl....is that your goal?.....and you may want a new thread for that topic as well...
But to say something is better or will work for someone as easy without anything but the hope of it and your word is asking allot so far..Methods and Formulas prove themselves...and why ppl use GH and AN as they have been doing this for a while and trusted by faithful customers that may have good results already...
So its still YourMethod vs ??....
I can drop a pic of a 10x12 room of soil. beds fed w TLO teas..but whats the point in this thread?....
power to your work tho...I'll stick with Roots or WhiteShark(which is AN based) or SubCulture M(GH based)....

Didnt mean it like that, just what you were guessing on the bennies I use, they arent nutes of any sort.. I did organic with GH's organic line and it was great, but I like maxibloom man, all the plant needs in one cheap little package, same thing as flora, same as advanced, just a different way of doing it..

The beneficials I use are heavily concentrated, sure those products you mentioned arent that expensive, but they dont last as long or have the concentration of what I am using, simply put, its a superior product, lasts longer and at the end of the day is cheaper.. Negates the point of buying anything else from a mathematical standpoint..

If I was in dirt, I wouldnt need to inoculate very often, but in hydro the bennies arent going to "thrive" in my medium, so I apply twice a week to make up for it...

I guess yes, technically I am integrating "organics" with hydro nutes, but I really am integrating bacteria and fungus, and maybe some micro-nutrients from the molasses, but honestly I could get away with out them on just the maxibloom... Bennies are just better for health and vigor..

Check them out, they compliment any grow, be it organic or hydroponic. Im not sure Im following, why do I need more than Maxibloom when the NPK profile is nearly identical to the lucas formula, in fact, it is the lucas formula... I thought thats what this thread was about:( Thats the only reason I brough up using the bennies, because other than maxibloom thats all I use..

In due time on the pics, Ive started a journal of my own, rather than the grows I was overseeing, which were in fact all me.... I didnt abandon the journal, rather the growers under my tutelage... Join me in the vert section, itd be one thing If my mouth was writing checks my ass couldnt cash, and sure you are entitled to that skepticism, in fact, I would be too, swing through my thread tho, see what we are doing in vert, and in time, all your questions will be more than answered, thanks for the inquiry.. Im about a week out on blooming bro, so the room is getting "tied up" as we speak. 2.5 with 1k isnt wild bro, in fact, Im shooting for 3 with 2 6's....

cya there?

I will never buy caps bennies again. WAY overpriced. my plants didnt look any different. I had the same effects as great white did and funny thing is i used WAAYY LESSS great white per brewed tea than CAPs.

5 gallon bucket = 1/2 tsp great white vs 3-5 tbs CAPS (WTF i thought his bennies were more concentrated??)

also 3-8oz. bennies packs are $75 when i still have the $40 4oz. great white from like 2 years ago.... and it still makes a great A.A.C.T...

Sorry for the rant but i bought his bennies about a year ago because he basically bashed companies that make produts like Great White... and afterwards i felt like salesman sold me if you catch my drift.

any market that doesnt have to have its products regulated to make sure they are what they say they are, has WAAY to much room for BullSH** baseless claims...(AN is the KING of this)... Plant biology is quite basic, anybody who argues this is overthinking...

genetics and enviorment are like 90% of what makes good bud good bud, also proper drying/curing. Keep your nutrient feeding balanced and your good to go.

I didn't say the claim itself wasn't obtainable. It just takes the right grower. In another thread you said to google you in regards to your web cred. So I did. And I found a bunch of abandoned journals of molested plants on some budget mmj site. Different Jbonez perhaps?

Sounds lofty, but I do you wish luck in your quest for the 3 with the 6's.

This^^ at the end of the day..

Interesting you found caps stuff less advantageous than Great white, I dropped great white years ago for extreme gardening, problem is, Great white doesnt have much in it, and for the price is no where near Xtreme Gardenings line, you should give them a shot if you are on GW, otherwise, Caps stuff is it for me, I didnt read any literature on it, just testimony and pure experience with it alone, the stuff isnt a gimmick, you are the first person Ive heard this from that used it.. I brew it by the half gallon, tsp at a time bro, shits gonna last longer than any other bennies Ive tried, and Ive tried them all.. Look at how I grow, I dont do snake oil or overpriced products man, 75 bucks for a pretty hefty supply isnt irrational when you consider 1 cup of the brew does 10 gallons of nute, I just dont remember great white lasting me that long.. hey use what works for ya, like ya said, too many factors to call one product the reason for our success...

Budget site, lol... You hit the nail on the head there... But yeah, Id say, I kinda grew up there.. My plants looked molested?? Did you find the one pic of the only time I had a p def or something in hydro??? well that was 5 years ago, Ive probably gotten a "little" better since then..

Come on over to my journal bro, lets see what happens with what Im doing.. be glad to have ya

Here is a pic I dug up from that site, doesnt look too bad does it? granted it was bubblicious, not the best smoke but ok..

I went through those packs in a month, like i said i still have that small great white container.
I really havent heard anything bad about caps, and im not saying it is bad. He did a great job with his research and providing a honest product for the community. i just havent seen anything more beneficial from using his product, thats all im trying to say i guess.

once im out of great white though, im switching to BioAg's VAM endo mix. I think the new myco products geared towards MMJ will be mainly endo mycos. with no trich or ecto mycos/bennies...

I call bullshit when I see it. Definitely molested plants and unfinished journals, please don't make me dig this crap up from wherever it was I saw it. It was recent as I recall, not 5 years ago either. Not sure why you would refer us to google for web cred when all that turns up is sick looking plants under your handle. The plant you posted a pick of looks overnuted, I get upset when I blow the tops out of the bud like that, but what do I know. Good luck to you Jbonez.

At this point, even civility is not an option, and in a rather distasteful display of arrogance I usually try to keep to a minimum, "Dont make me" means one thing, fuck you, and to that I say, fuck WITH me...

You see, you are clearly an NT, as indicated by your subjective, tho clever trollish behavior, (I know this because we NT's founded the fucking troll movement) so lets have it.... "brother"... (by the way, we are now going with "Logic Fairies") Troll is taboo....

I did a little research myself, and to be honest bro, talk is cheap and your subjective, albeit entertaining dialogue is of little relevance, So if the post man is late and isnt beating your door down yet, Im saying you offer nothing to this site...

Go ahead and reference everything Ive ever posted.. I posted it for a reason, too many dudes on here know me in real life, your opinion is of little concern to me, or anyone else..

waiting...............

overnuted? and blowing the tops out?

i dont see a single burnt tip. i see a little to much nitrogen.. but still i have that happen until i switch to flower nutes anyways.

Hes with AN.. Hes mad cuz I checked his coworker, hugetom...

The third one in this thead, any time a grower presents a logical reason on why to stay away from their products, they get all pissy...

Hes been in another advanced thread for a minute avoiding me, and for good reason. Besides, if he was that great a grower, advanced nutes would be the last thing hed be researching, yo huge ass...

They dont have posts with any substance and they chime in anytime someone says anything negative about their product.. Im used to it, pay them no mind..

I do kinda agree with him, that plant in the pic I posted had a lil burn going, easy to correct, I was running floranova at over 1400ppm because not pictured in the tray were a few other phenos that needed more nutes... One rez so duh...

Here is another pic of my poorly mistreated gals I found... poor things.. Floranova was the culprit.. Chemdawg/og seeds from rez and reserva privada
