KCB Haze Special and the COLD

Hey all,

I was wondering if anybody has had experience running KC's Haze Special outdoors, or maybe a similar haze/skunk cross (parents are supposedly the Nev's Haze and "k.c 606" which is what KC uses for basically everything and I believe it is a skunk plant with grower friendly characteristics). It is only just starting to put on weight and I was wondering how cold resistant it is. Has anybody seen what light frost will do to a Haze Special?

Thanks,
Skinner

I havent grown the haze special, but ive grown a big bunch of Brains strains outdoors over the past 12 years. Ive grown out a lot of strains other than brains outdoors and its my view that brains is probably the very best breeder in the business for outdoor weed . His plants have unusual vigor and resistance.

I think ive grown 8 KC strains OD during that time and every strain was cold hardy. Because ive grown outdoors for so long, I know that frost doesnt really hurt cannabis at all, every year i get multiple frost in the spring on strains and then i can get it mid to late oct. I havent had frost, or even a light freeze affect any of Brains strains in any way.(or any others for that matter). Cannabis generally is a tough plant that isnt sensitive to cold snaps. Because brains actually breeds from outdoor, his strains are somewhat tougher than others.

I think your going to be fine and i envy your grow. Ive wanted to grow it and i'll just bet your babies are going to give you an ass whoopin.

Nice to be on a forum where people don't trash quality genetics just because they heard from somebody who heard from somebody else that K.C is a bad breeder.

Thanks Doc!
