How do YOU measure your nutes.

6ml of this... 10ml of that. Add a tsp, add a tbsp. A pinch, a dash, a dollop, a drop . We've all come across it.

Soooo, I was just curious what everyone's method of measuring their nutes were. Use a dropper? A measuring spoon? A scale? Eyeball it? Other method? Especially the smaller growers, as I would assume the larger growers use beakers or measuring cups of some sort.

My curiosity has gotten the best of me. :thank you:

I use anywhere from a 20 cc to a 60 cc veterinary syringe. I get the luer slip NOT the lock and I can slide a piece of airline tubing on the end and reach down into bottles and draw out measured amounts.

cc = ml
tsp = 5ml = 5cc
tbsp = 15ml = 15cc

For bigger amounts ~200 ml I just use a measuring cup with oz/ml on it.

syringe works great. can't get more accurate than that .you can get them from the drug store in the infant medicine section. or freebie from vet friend.

I have a graduated cylinder but I keep track of nutes by measuring TDS. It's the only meaningful number to the plants.

i use a 10ml syringe i had from growing mushies...fyi these can be found as oral dosage syringes(go to pharmacy and ask for them some give them out free) or can go to a feed supply store(for horse supplies) or tractor supply co....i also have a huge 60ml also lol i really need to get a set of meters though......

i have a shotglass with teaspoon/ml demarcations (5ml ea) from my hydro shop, and mix by the 5 gallon blue water jug. i've noticed i usually wind up with closer to 5.5 gallons of water in the jugs though so i jigger it a little towards the heavy side with the nutes.

I use 2 part nutes and put in equal amounts until I get to the desired EC level. Get yourself an EC meter.

10ml pipette, superior to syringes due to being able to reach the bottom of all containers and being easier to clean.

Usually I mix up 3 gallons at a time in a 5 gallon bucket, to dump into my drip reservoir.

I use a 60ml syringe to measure.

For every 1 gallon of water I use 8ml GH micro to 16ml GH Bloom with 5ml of Silica Blast and 25ml of CNS 17 Ripe.

Lucas Formula with added Silica and Bloom Booster.

I ordered a 10ml and a 25ml pipette from amazon today! After winning a bid on ebay last week for wheel pipettor not realizing I would need pipettes too! I got a 10 and 25ml pipettor for like 7 bucks with shipping! Like these:
