Tobacco in joints usually tastes worse from what ive heard.

You sir are correct. Fresh tobacco goes stale so the big companies add preservatives that are harmful to us.
Well smoke isn't good for you either is tar and nicotine is a drug lol...but you are correct they put over 2000 harmful chemicals in cigs.. what fun lol.. peace out Headband707
exactly, you have such a great substance, mostly pure, if you dont get crazy on nutrient schedule, and them mixing it with tobacco, and not the normal one, but the one they put "special ingredients", that are a mystery but get ya hook up fast.Never put tobacco in my joint and I smoke cigarettes.What is the point? I mean do you put water in your beer so that it gets more?
i never smoked a cigarette, i didnt saw the point wen i was a kid, and wen i started smoking weed i started rolling pure, and i dindt cough a lung, and wen i see people that smoke weed and tobacco, they struggle to hold the smoke wen is a pure joint, they cant take it, im in europe too so most of the people really prefer a mix then a straight pure one, wen i say i only smoke pure people just give me the looks, and say ish like "yea you can afford" and other stuff but the truth is i rather smoke half a pure joint than a big one mixed, the only tobacco that i smoke is in blunts, and those i love, but it cant be a skinny one, more than 1,5 gr or the tast of the weed gets too mixed for me.

you took the words rite outta my mouth.Only dif is i use bluntvilles or dutchmasters and even then i tear most of paper and leaf off.i also like fonto leaf when i can get it.i find rizzlas to be the best though in terms of letting the flavor come through smooth.i never f wit rolling tobaco or ciggs though

I make my own blunt wraps.
i do like some shisha with herb and kief and hash in the hookah though...hmm...can't have too much or my throat kills the following couple of days
we have wild california tobacco growing all around here, i plan on harvesting a couple grocery bags full in a week or 2, try and make my own shisha, some blunt wraps, etc.

Probably my favorite aspect of weed is enjoying all the subtle tastes and smells. Mixing in tobacco is like a sin in my house. I don't smoke tobacco in general though, so I'm a bit biased.

Got a interesting story about tobacco and herb though.
I smoked Tobacco from the time I was 15-18. On my 18th birthday I bought a 1/4lb of some kind indoor. Throughout the next wk I blazed my ass off. I smoked that whole qp to myself. Every time I had the slightest urge for a smoke I blazed instead. After the week was up and the qp was gone I was done. I haven't smoked a cigarette in over 12 years.
I actually was Soo raunched out and burnt from that heavy smoking week that I didnt smoke anything until nearly Christmas that year.
Probably wasn't the smartest thing I have ever done. But it worked.

Same, i find if the weed doesnt burn super clean, adding abit of tobacco helps it burn better, and believe it or not people you will taste the weed more too. The trick i learned from a afghani dude is not to add more then 10% tobacco to the mix, this way you dont taste the tobacco.

I was able to quit cigarettes a little over two years ago. I failed quitting 3 times. 4th time I tried I used cannabis to help with the cravings and muscle tics. I won. Now, two years later, I can finally watch an episode of Mad Men without automatically getting an urge for a cigarette.
No tobacco for me... hopefully for life.

Back a pretty long time ago now....
I was stationed in turkey.....
there we smoked hash mixed with turkish tobacco....
The mix was about 50 - 50....
We also smoked in in hookas and smouldering under glass....
but for walking around the 50 - 50 mix was what we did....
we called em tuba due to the shape.....
I never did pick up the cig thing....

I had a buddy in the Navy - he liked to unpack a cigar and refill with bud.
that was brick an bale weed days. For some reason sounds tasty tonight....
5 years without tobacco and the mention gives me a craving - - just for a second tho....

I use about 60/40 weed/baccy
Until about 2 years ago i used to smoke baccy in my joints. Had to give it up though, i could feel it killing me, plus it makes you look and smell like shit.
all my friends still smoke with baccy, they make every excuse under the sun, most of which are found in this thread.

some of you seem to be trying to say that smoking pure weed in a joint is harmless - thats rubbish. plenty of stuff in pure weed that will help kill you when you smoke it - just like there is in tobacco so dont get too holier than thou about it!
tobacco is more physically addictive though, ive never had a problem with that personally, but i dont smoke joints all day - mostly in the evening.

I've never understood mixing tobacco with weed. Hash, yes, since you need something to mix if you're rolling a joint. But with weed? No way. What a way to ruin a lovely joint.
I smoked tobacco for 24 years and never mixed it with weed in all that time. Now that I've been tobacco free for 2 years I certainly won't start.
I'd much rather smoke a pinner with 3 people where we each get 2 hits of pure weed off it than smoke a spliff containing the same amount of weed and we each get 5 hits of a tobacco/weed mix. It's the same amount of weed ingested with less total smoke.

Yeah I hear you. I've been smoking more and more out of my bubbler to filter some of the nasties out. Looking around and saving up for some sort of vape too. Maybe just a small glass vaporgenie. Or some bigger thing to go with a perc bong, I dunno.
But saying weed is just as harmful as tobacco, then yeah, if we're talking pure tobacco. The tobacco in cigs IS poison. All those shitty additives... Plus the tar and shit which you get when burning anything, be it weed or baccy.
I like the occasional Cohiba or other good cigars. That is tobacco. Not some crappy, poisoned mix.
