I like firemen. They actually save lives and help without fucking up lives and playing god. We should put firemen is squad cars and their only job is to help people in distress and deal with rapists, child molesters, thieves, murderers and overall scumbags behind closed doors. Too utopia-ish?? System's just too corrupt and that's how it is. Anyone has the right to despise it. I do think that this whole situation here today is messed up. Probably the most messed up thread I've ever seen here.

Right right. A lot of the time (most of the time?), cops are there too late, but not always. I have a gun to protect my life, but you can be sure I'm calling the cops too. Who knows, maybe you hold the seven guys off with your gun for three minutes but they keep trying. Finally cops get there and help you out. It was just an example situation as there are 10's of thousands of others.

I was sayings its hypocritical to use a service after you bash the service. I'm not sayings its hypocritical to break the law then ask for help, because really, everyone makes mistakes, everyone breaks the law to some degree. They should/do still offer help to everyone, even those that bash the very service that may possible save their lives and/or their loved ones.

Just in case anyone missed it: I'm not standing up for all cops.. I hate bad cops, more than I hate regular criminals. Cops need to be held to a higher standard when they are in trouble, and need more checks and balances. I'm just standing up for law enforcement agency in general as a concept, and the good men and women (however many there are) that are employed.

Okay well I was just saying, in the scenario you described calling the cops wouldn't happen, you're not going to hold off seven armed men and call the cops.

As for hypocrisy I don't think anyone here has bashed the police service entirely but rather have criticized it for being misdirected and condemned it when police behave poorly. I agree if you say thatall police are good for nothing bums and the police force should be disbanned then yeah, you're a hypocrite if you call them when you need help. Is anyone here other then the most radical (and least respected) saying that though?

Rainbows & Fairytales

I just read this entire thread, and I think most people have it dead on.I have a hard time fathoming that any could defend this person being here, actually invoking free speech in the process?

That's a real head scratcher on this site.

Back into my hole I go :peek:

Yes I agree. I find it obnoxious that officers only need a GED in most departments. Not many have a degree. Some do, but its not common. I think it should be require to have a least an AA. I suppose I would prefer they have a BA/BS but I haven't thought of it too much.

You learn a lot more in upper education then what classes you're taking. Its kind of an indirect thing. And I feel officers need this. It also shows that they have more commitment to themselves and others. It would just be good overall.

A point on this: anyone on here who's ever been taken in/interrogated by a detective will note how different it is from an interaction with a uniformed officer. One major reason, I believe, is that you can't make detective rank with the same bare-bones education it takes to get into the academy. Most DTs have psych & sociology training - it makes a difference.

To hit back to the point of this thread though, yes, there's a LEO on ICMag - is this really a surprise?! Beat cops are often dummies, but the agents who are really gunning for us (DEA, FBI, etc. [I exclude ATF, because they're largely federal riot/SWAT cops]) are sophisticated enough to do a Google search, find this place, then use their PATRIOT-act powers to pull our IP addresses, locate our residences, and take a quick look at all of our electric bills. My point here is that we're at risk either way - probably less of one if they announce themselves when they arrive.

You people are missing the whole fucking point why would this dumb fuck come to a weed growing site and post this garbage. Who fucking cares if this guy wants to be a cop but why announce it on ICMAG...:moon::laughing:

Well if you read between the lines of what he said in the first post it might have been his intention to be an insider providing info to us on how cops are doing things. I mean if you were putting alot of time, energy and money into protecting yourself from a certain way of being detected wouldn't you want to know if cops even really use that as a way to bust people?

I mean when someone says they are intentionally becoming what they feared most to me that implies they have an agenda, most likely to nuetralize that fear. Also when they make it clear it's not in real time that suggests they don't want other cops to know or figure out who he is.

Of course rather then seeing what this guy was about and giving him enough rope to make his case or hang himself, most everyone immediately jumped on the "lets bash the piggie" bandwagon and so we'll almost certainly not learn any of LEO's newest tricks now until someone else gets busted by them.

Seriously. A great thing to do if in a group, is find someone willing to become a part of the other group. Opens up many closed doors.

heya adderall, my question would be ...what? tell me/us everything.

anything you can...let's see what you got..(im not being an ass)

information that can be disseminated to growers to give an edge(that we dont already have...or think we have)so we can let the police patrol areas needed,as opposed to going after cannabis farmers. thats what we need, if youve been growing and reading here, you know what we need to know

we dont need to know not to put a joint in the glovebox.

as for the bashers, y'all are soooooooo funny.

and foolish.

is this guy a cop?

am i a cop?

we live in a panopticon society, if you think you have any rights/freedoms regarding the illegal stuff some of us do, or anything that goes on in the WWW, then ignorance is bliss.

if any one of us became interesting enough to any LEO clan, they have you and they can take you. it takes average+ skills to come on here and hack into any info wanted, cover tracks, get the information from "other sources", bash yer door and taker yer lively.

if he's a benedict arnold.......what the fuck can he take that he couldnt take from here anyways???

fuck a duck, police are police. they do what they do.

theyve taken me, my friends, my family....
do i visualize ramming one every once in awhile with my auto-weapon?....not at all!

however, let's get some MEAT AND POTATOES!!!!!!!!!

adderall, give us some data.

I don't know if anyone else has been following the case in Seattle where cops raided a patient's house for 3 plants. The whole story is pretty awful, but one pretty shocking bit of LEO knowledge came to light. They published the affidavit for the warrant, and check out how much Officer Tyrone Davis's training taught him about indoor growing:

"I believed based on my training and experience that the room possibly contained marijuana plants because it is common for marijuana growers to utilize a fan and other ventilation equipment in order to clear the excessive odor emitted by the plants, the excessive smell and fumes from pesticides, fertilizers and other horticultural chemicals used to promote marijuana plant growth, but mainly to remove excessive heat, humidity, and air that contains too much oxygen generated inside of grow rooms from plants, bright high-wattage bulbs, and other related electrical equipment."

I gotta be honest, this is a way more sophisticated understanding of vent fans than I ever expected police to have!

the original post said it was going to be to help us know what you learn in training.

you haven't done that...not one bit.

Yeah we need cops for rape and murder, but the overwhelming majority of us here aren't rapists or murderers and cops can and will take everything we have if given the chance..

So if you don't have any info which can actually help us protect ourselves which we haven't already learned, what are you here for?

If you do, share it, and go.

adderall if you want to be friends with us here at icmag...you will infiltrate the police force with the intention of using your pro marijuana stance to the benefit one day. for example...if some younger cop below you wants to harass someone over some marijuana...step in and let them go.

if you pull over a kid and hes been smoking weeed..dont seize his car and search him, etc...let him go.

if you are part of a raid on a grow house...make sure to make a big stink about how this is a waste of your time and you wanna be out catching REAL criminals..

get my drift...
