You can see at the end of the plant, the water is retained like in a bubble, it becomes viscous and the plant ends up dying as it's not able to drink

I'm doing clones in hidro, changing water 1 time per week.

How to prevent it and how to cure attacked ones?

So u just stuck the cutting in a can of water?

There should be constant oxygen in the water, even then i would change the water more often. Maybe twice a week but i have no real experienc with hydro cloning

It looks like the bottom is swelling and wanting to make roots,if you clone them in dirt, cinnamon will kill it. Do you have that on a timer or constant? Sometimes they like it better if they get a break instead . Keep the water at 70-80deg,keep it clean, add more air lines, and 1/8 strength solution has worked for me with the neoprene.

No way to know. You can root cuts in water. It takes much longer for most cuts to root. You have to change the water daily.

I would guess the can was prob contaminated. Slim mold

Healthy plants make the strongest cuts.

A couple balls of fresh rabbit poop will also keep that at bay. ;) Their shit is very similar in beneficial bacteria content to earthworm castings. :D
