why would you assume that we are here everyday and you probably know who we is. We dont come here and spew bullshit we do our homework research the subject and discuss the facts. You and others are always claiming stuff that is a 215 law or you say things like this might happen the ;laws are straight forward and printed in BW for all to read we are not claiming anything that is not covered in the bill.

WHAT do you mean claiming stuff that is a 215 law?? I dont even get what you're going at?!

And Dagnabit has been here since the start and he didnt know you had to dry/keep harvested plants within the 25 sqft. Said I was spreading lies, quickly like the some of you.

So I can't sort out which one of you have actually read it, or are just jumping on others posts which may or may not be accurate/precise.

215 is current law, whether you like it or not. When we talk about taking the next step to further our movement, talking about what we currently have is completely relevant.

You're not my keeper? Wtf are you talking about man. You made a claim I asked you to substantiate it. Thats what you do when you make a claim, it is YOUR responsibility to substantiate it (to some degree); at least in the world I live in.

And I'm not really quoting anything 215, just stating whats law.. I still dont get the point.. Its our current law. Its very relevant to talk about current law as you're taking the next step in a movement.

No, I think you're wrong.

If we didn't have 215, everyone and their mother would vote for prop19.. Even Krunch MAYBE. Only he can say so, but I'm sure most if not all the anti-prop19'ers would go pro-prop19. I know I would.

Its very relevant.

dude I think u have an issue with understanding. 215 Is on the book for med users only 19 is/will be on the books for rec users only. The 2 laws are separate and can not be used together. there laws are completely diferant and can not be compared. this thread is about prop 19 not 215. Do u not understand this? I just dont get how difficult you are being. Im trying to let you know this. Any discussion in this thread should contain laws the pertain to 19 and 19 only. You have made me tired Im going to sleep now maybe someone else can try to help u understand there not the same.

no where does it say you have to store, dry, cure and process in the 5x5. it says on the premised where the harvest takes place (this means your HOME) and what's that got to do with ANYTHING?

Yal anti19s act like they will start a pot scrutiny police to be doing daily inspections on every single personal grow. Get REAL. and all these stupid fucking details will be hammered away once mj is legalized. it's not going to end at 19. people (including myself) will continue to fight for better mj laws. But how can we ever expect better pot laws by voting against the first "legalization" prop in decades? Do you realize how much that will set the movement back?

In my opinion ANYONE who votes against 19 doesn't want ANY legalization EVER. Why would you fight so hard over minor details specially when you have your precious mmj system that grants you all rights you complain about 19 not having.

The only thing anti19s are TRULY afraid of is competition and slightly lower prices rather they want to admit it or not. At least krunchbubble will admit it the rest of you anti19s who don't want to admit it are spineless lying deceitful coward scumbags.

You are correct. And to clear up any confusion, lets take a nice look at prop 19.

Here is the part previously quoted:

(b) living and harvested cannabis plants shall be assessed by square footage, not by weight in determining the amounts set forth in section 11300(a);

Now lets go to section 11300(a)...

Section 11300: Personal Regulation and Controls

(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, it is lawful and shall not be a public offense under California law for any person 21 years of age or older to:
(i) Personally possess, process, share, or transport not more than one ounce of cannabis, solely for that individual’s personal consumption, and not for sale.
(ii) Cultivate, on private property by the owner, lawful occupant, or other lawful resident or guest of the private property owner or lawful occupant, cannabis plants for personal consumption only, in an area of not more than twenty-five square feet per private residence or, in the absence of any residence, the parcel. Cultivation on leased or rented property may be subject to approval from the owner of the property. Provided that, nothing in this section shall permit unlawful or unlicensed cultivation of cannabis on any public lands.
(iii) Possess on the premises where grown the living and harvested plants and results of any harvest and processing of plants lawfully cultivated pursuant to section 11300(a)(ii), for personal consumption.

a. I. is for possession. 1 ounce only.
a. II. is for cultivation. Only allowed in a 25 sq ft area per residence.
a. III. is for Possession in your residence where grown, allowed keep any of the harvest (in possession).

Hopefully that clears all that up.

personally i fell that prop 19 has way to many holes in it and its sole purpose is for Mr Lee to fatten his pockets with shit loads of cash his oakstradam company will be making .He after all is the one who wrote it ...if he truly wanted a legalization of weed he would have got together with some of the other great minds in this fight and wrote a bill that would have truly legalized weed. i have a serious problem with making it a criminal offense for a 20 year old smoking a joint while that same kid gets a slap on the wrist for drinking . now i do think the legal age should be 21 {medical patients younger is ok cancer aids etc} but criminal is the wrong route i understand we all want free weed myself included but at what cost .this bill dose nothing but help to fill our over crowded prision system up with more people for simply passing a joint come on no 1 in there right mind can think this is ok . i believe that prop 19 is a set back for all of us and right now there are 4 different bills in the works that are by far much better and in 2012 we will see a true legalization of weed .DONT GIVE UP THE FIGHT SO FAST STAY TRUE AND FIGHT FOR WHAT IS RIGHT UNITE AND WE ALL WILL BE FREE

personally as a grower i fell that passing of this bill into law will be a good thing for Ca.why for several reasons .
1 unclog our courts and jails with people who grew or possessed
2 open the customer base so that criminals no longer have a market
3 create a revenue for the state to piss away on who knows what so that they can stop cutting funding to the schools and the poor which they have been doing over the last few years
4 for those that think that this bill passing will drop the prices of cannabis you are wrong right now if you want some $100 headache smoke you can get it easily people will still pay a higher price for quality smoke for 2 reasons
1 people who use it for medical don't want no shit weed that defeats the purpose that they eat/vap/smoke for
2 the cost of proper nutrients lighting water filtration and care and time that it takes for quality cannabis will not decrease so the market for higher priced quality cannabis will always be there

regardless of what people think you cant just throw some seeds in the yard and stick a hose on them and get good smoke

which one?

The Leno SB that was just signed into law makes those(20 yo smokers) "criminal offense"s a civil infraction. So its not a crime anymore, no jail time,no harder punishments for repeat offenses. Dont pass your beer or joint to anyone under 21 where you would get caught and you dont need to worry.

What happens NOW if you sell herb or smoke with a person that is not a card holding medical patient? Lose your card? Jail time? What happens?

A few things that seem to be clouding up the thread as said before is the prop.215 and prop.19 legalities. I may be wrong but, prop.215 does not "legalize" cannabis whatsoever as many claim. Prop.215 is a "compassionate relief" voter initiated law that basically allows us (cannabis users) to use the proposition as a legal defense in a court of law upon being arrested for cannabis possession. The passing of prop.19 would never see small quantity amount possession even making it to court as cannabis would be "legal" to possess in "regulated" quantity(1oz for 19, abx6-9 say's 16oz, take your pick). That is a big difference right there. Also, now that sb1449 has been signed and the likelihood of abx6-9 passing sounds like the state has already anticipated the 18-20 year old smokers are not just going to disappear so under an ounce this age group should be as safe as they are now. Another thing to consider is what will the state do regarding state jobs and the other companies that currently piss test for cannabis? I just heard they are developing a mouth swab test for cannabis use that can detect up to four hours of last use. Maybe some of us can get back to work and no longer worry about that session we had last night. With sb1449 signed and the passage of abx6-9 after passing prop.19, how could this be bad for us? More jobs, more freedom, I don't get it.

Its always been like this in california. anything under an ounce you never got jail time. it was only a 200 fine. and no probation.

so only thing that changed was from a mis to a infraction.

thats it. n They can still take your herb away, they can stil put you in prison for growing ;)
