Stress can cause a female plant to throw male banana's so you can have a female plant pollinate itself and produce seeds but the seeds are almost sure to produce a hermaphrodite.

they had purplediesel not sourgrapes but i dont know the diferance maby something but maby nothing at all. i picked up sour diesel a while back wich they had around again the last week i was by HHC 3 times and picked up purple diesel, NYC diesel, headband, dream queen (AKA green crack), Mr. nice, hundukush x skunk, strawberrycough x deepshunk, uk cheese, blue cheese, SSH, and blue dream. i dont remember seing purple idesel today but they might not of had it out or i overlooked it, they had it mon and tues but i came by today and it was packed -i had just found out they re-labeled green crack cause HHC has issues with the name i think. they had SFV OGkush on monday an tuesday, im looking for platinum or some other but they might get that again.

i may stop in the city when im about an drop by grass roots and sanctuary, any other spots in SF that would have top cuts?

id like to see them cary samples to smell of each cut and look at bud structure, a vendor might be able to reqest a sample be avalible but samples get old and aslong as they verify im confident. i love the selections but they need to be verified befor we buy them and invest time energy and more $$$ to verify each on ourselfs (im confident HHC has understood this and takes steps to correctly label everything and verify themelfs geting flowers with new cuts, realistically they would have to update thoes samples so often to keep the integrity and fresh aromas) i dont think GDP will ever be deluted if folks respect it, i know its a clone only thing but even befor i kne wabout kens GDP and i figured they where the same. theses might be cuts of the same -they might not, personally i might ask the clone guys to explain why theirs 3 dif GDP on deck and what they have to say about each.. i noticed a week ago they had white widow an i asked about that an was told they might have it again later, so check up on twitter just after noon most week days. the best days to go IMO are mon and tues looking on twitter for new stuff is nice but often they cant post everything and might have a suprize or 2.

another thing about HHC is they have 72 plant max so folk come in and scoop up whole trays at a time, they have seeds over at their CA despenceries and collectives thread -cali connection has veriety of OG's but 100 a pack ill have to save up and spend wize. i feel like hunting for that platinum OG cut around SF (was told thats where it is just not exectly where to look lol) ill stop by a few popular spots.

If you're after GDP the consensus is the GDP Collective in San Pablo. I've been meaning to get over there but have not as of yet. I can't wait to go though.

Well Don Juan I can confirm that my cuts from Harborside are genuine GDP. Started turning Purple at about 4.5 wks:dance013:. Also through the start flower it almost had a lemony smell but that has changed and smells like the funk I know and love. I still haven't chopped them yet but it's getting close.:smokeit:

I don't think folks that are new to this, say started in the last ten years really appreciate the value of these clubs and the genetics they have available. In one day I can make the rounds buying clones at clubs and at the end of that day have in my hand genetics that used to take decades to collect. You'd hear about a friend of a friend that might have Trainwreck or something and if you were lucky you might track it down. All this whining about clones at clubs just makes me laugh. Some of you people have gotten spoiled.

No offense, brother, but this is a weak argument. Basically you are saying that we should not demand healthy disease/pest free clones that are properly labeled because in the past we would be satisfied if we could track down some mite infested trainwreck with pm. This thinking does not facilitate growth and progress.

The state of things PRESENTLY in California (and I suspect in other mmj sates) is much more sophisticated then it was 10 years AS A RESULT OF people not satisfied with the status quote.

And also we are very happy having these genetics available. But I ask are we really getting the desired and coveted genetics if clones are mislabeled. Also I refuse to bring any problem riddled plant into my garden. Now if I cause the problem that's one thing, but to receive disease and pest ridden plants for the sake of genetics i refuse. Or it would have to be some damn good confirmed genetics.

Is there anyone in the local area that is doing verified Rez seeds selling cuts from a delivery service in the local area? I am really interested in getting some of the high-quality seed-only strains and not having to deal with all of the bs with mail order, males, etc.

Cheers guys! :clover:

Ow that sucks. First I've heard of it. Too bad too. Anyone know the spot to get the good GDP cuts? I'll say this- the ones I got from HS are very nice. Extremely tough plants that seem to be well chosen for cloning. Haven't seen their yield yet though.

Over in Fairfield past Vallejo there's a new dispensary just starting. They have some cuts including Purple Kush, some kind of Haze and a couple of others so far. More importantly they are interested in getting good clone business going and are looking to buy quality cuts. I got a better feeling about that place for clones than many in that area, and soon they should be worth visiting if you're looking to buy.

Went to CBCB (Cannabis Buyers Club of Berkeley) and found out they no longer carry clones. Said it was easier to let harborside deal with it.... mmmkay......

I picked up three clones from Harborside on Monday. Blue dream, Space Queen and Grape. They had a few samples of what the finsihed buds would look like at the clone table this time (not all of them but looks like they are getting better and making the effort to verify them).

I still have about 3-4 weeks to go on the Casey Jones and Santa Cruz Kush (both from Harborside and they both look to be the correct cuts that I purchased). The Casey Jones is a giant. :dance013:

How long should I let the Casey go? How much longer do you guys think it will need to go compared to the SC Kush? I would like to chop them both at the same time so would it be OK to let the SC Kush go a little longer?

Updating!!!

NL#5 from Harborside was covered in trichs and didn't smell like much, which is what I have read about the strain. Slow vegger!! High feeder.

My Casey Jones starting throwing nanners around week 11 so just FYI. Smells like dirty feet when curing, has a lot of the trainwrecks smell but you can see the SD in her when she is flowering. Packed on a lot of weight weeks 8-9 for me.

Blue Dream from H-side was very easy to grow, practically grew itself and had a nice yield. Clones easily as well so it's no wonder this cut is everywhere in Cali atm. Low-medium feeder.

OG Kush from Blue Sky is very potent! Looks and smells just like I have read but she stretches really bad so when I grow her again I may train, top, or FIM her next. Medium-high feeder.

Blue Sky Cotton Candy got pollinated late by (I think) the CJ but I will be running this clone again. Very strong cotton candy smell and very large yielder. Medium-High feeder.

Have a lot more to update but I am busy atm so I will post pics later. Finally flowering some long vegging PK from both Hside and BS to see if they are the same cut.

I am also flowering the SC Kush from Hside and was wondering about it as well.

The Chem 4 from H-side is a stretcher and Cal Mag hog it seems, currently flowering at 18 days.... Stinky already and such a pretty plant!

One last thing, flowering a Headband (from Good Karma which I already know is a good one) vs one I got from H-side.

Smokesalot, thanks for the great report. I've got Purple Kush from Bpg, Hs and Bs going right now. The Harborside and BPG PK look exactly the same and are indeed very slow veggers. Very shiny dark leaves even when young. The Blue Sky PK is different and so far alot better I think. It's a slow vegger too but not as bad as it picks up speed. I don't think I'll run the Hs and Bpg cut again just too slow, don't feed hardly at all.None are more than a few weeks into bloom right now.
I've wanted to pick up a Cotton Candy cut to so it's good to hear about it.
