I'm African American have no idea about my true origins since my ancestors were stolen from my homeland and enslaved but I assume West African.

Considering I know history pretty well I'm pretty sure when the first reported ship came in 1497 by a Dutch Trading Company it wasn't Africans who sold Africans but I'll leave that to another debate don't get me started.

I wasn't going to retort anyway I know plenty of facts have taken 3 African American history courses in college and several other history classes enough to have a minor in it and its not even my major (biological engineering). I have always liked history excelled in it in highschool (probably why my history teacher wrote the recommendation that got me a full scholarship anyway I'm not going to argue with you).

Also I never said that didn't happen I'm talking about intial contacts with Europeans.

Considering the fact that generally most families have atleast 10% of another race in their bloodline whether they know it or not this thread isn't relevant. Also considering in 200 years there will be no definitive race this is also pointless again but I answered his question.

Ran as of three days ago I'm not going into the military right now I have two years left to finish my degree and have decided with the wishes of my parents to complete my degree since I still have my scholarship. I remember after a friend took a flight and looked down at the landscape it put humans into perspective...said we are nothing more than bi-legged germs...lol.

When I grew up in the northeast waaaay back the ethnic groups would be lumped together in little neighborhoods. We had Greek, Polish, Italian, etc. 'clubs'. Back then the whole ethnicity thing was really important but was mostly European and that has faded away.
