Mars Hydro Led

ok here is my 1st entry.
i would like a 4' strip LED with proper growing
LED's. in the 40-50 watt range.
pro's and cons: is nice to have some
side light for middle of the plants. i would
think for tent growers on side walls. might
need 3' also for smaller grow tents.

If a series of lights use the same ratio of LEDs, then you could re-calibrate a 10$ light meter to read PPFD. Numerically they over read, so the sensor just needs a resistor over it I guess.

Once prototyped you could order a few from the manufacturer to your spec. Swapping the parts during production wouldn't even be retooling I reckon.

Then someone could buy one of the better lights, and get a ppdf meter for 20$. You would find it's close enough for other light series. Mostly probably, the range buttons function could be a series button. Again, no retool. Just a different component fed in is quite possibly all that is needed. Then labeling.

1: tents could use a semi rigid flap (!) going around behind the zip, overlapping about an inch. I couldn’t find a photo. ☹️
2: this would stop any annoying pinprick light leaks, and stop the zipper getting stuck on the fabric
3: @JustSumTomatoes are you in for this one

1: insulated driver option for people who grow in outbuildings/garages where mounting outside the tent can cause condensation in the unit
2: no picture I’m afraid
3: @armedoldhippy are you still out there

Now that could be made a bit smaller and then called called Mars "Dildo"! Add vibration and C2C coindrop integration, and you're golden! Steady base is a must! :muahaha:

My older MH 1x1x1.8 m tent doesnt have those. But my newer MH 1.5x1.5x2 tent is exactly how you say.
Sorry, edited to add: It's not on the inside, it's on the outside! I didn't read your post well enaugh at start, but basically does same job!
