Like Keith Richard's infamous intimate relationship with hazzardous recreational vices. There are those among us whose habits and related resilience provides nothing short of awe.
heroin use itself unlikely to kill you if dosage watched closely. eating at McDs prob not good for you at any level. i eat there myself every month or so. :badday: Keith can afford GOOD health care...if England's "socialist medical system" won't help him out.

Some might call that a 'cowboy breakfast', Herman. Beans, meat, eggs; protein extraordinaire!!
Looks awesome!!

Had an egg over easy on lightly toasted sprouted grains and seed bread rom Alvarado St. Bakery. Standard fare these days.

Followed by green tea, a cup of French Roast coffee with 40% heavy whipping cream, and the standard fist full of supplements and Rx stuff.

Hello Moose Eater, it´s a quick made meal. As my wife made the first times we had bacon also, but it´s a lot food for "older people" ;-) Had also 2 green tea cups, this afternoon.
Green tea provides a lesser jolt to the system via lower caffeine impact, and is also a recognized anti-androgen, per the American Cancer Association. Good stuff, and helps keep folks mellow at the same time.

And yeah, we don't eat like we used to, even when working outdoors. Metabolic shifts make it so it's no longer required. Cheaper living, and healthier that way, too.

It's crazy bro! $50 just like that. Ate the cake and the low mein and one of the green chili burittos. That's like $10 in food! Crap.
yeah, really crap. I mostly buy fruit and veg but they´ve gone seriously up in price during these past 2 years alone. 1 kg of apples was 1.99 and is now 2.99. Same problem with veggies and so on.

I eat healthy and don´t buy ready made meals or snacks but I still pay way more than I used to..
Meat is waaay more pricey than it used to be. Even minced beef - used to be like 4 - 5.99 when on special offer and now it´s 11 -12. Got lucky this week though because it was `only 8 -9, so I´ll be making nice meat balls / cevapcici along with a pepper bell sauce :) Those were cheaper this week, so I got really lucky somehow.
I used to pay about 25 or so, now I pay 30-35 for the exact same items.

My little freezer is currently absolutely packed with pre cooked food.
But still, making your own fresh food was a lot cheaper before the pandemic and the war :(
