If I catch it right, I can easily drive it +300 up to 320 yrds. BFD!

Golf was just fine before tiger came along.

I'm not even gonna name the litany of names like palmer, Watson, Hogan, snead, hell Bobby fuking Jones for that matter that could easily outplay tiger on a good day. (Tiger named his damn kid Sam after Sam Snead for gripes sakes).

If tiger is good for the game of golf because he is a role model to millions of kids, well if role models are given a pass to cheat on their wives because they play a specfic game well then america is more Fuked up then it lets on.

Golf is know as the "gentlemen's" sport you ass.

Cheating on your wife is not considered "gentlemenly' in a sport where it's the only sport in history where you are required to call a penalty on yourself.

Another note to tiger: Tom Watson graduated Stanford, (Tiger dropped out after only two years.)

I 'grew up' in a similar area too buddy, and happened to break a certain CIF low score round of his... interseting.

I also have been playing professional golf for the past 4 years, and I bet I'm half your age. I know plenty about the past golfers and how great they were... but face it, the game has changed (if you ever were decent to begin with you'd know this immediately) as have the ATHLETES that now play. The skilled players of yesteryear unfortunately played against even more lackluster talent than today... and won even less than tiger.

secondly, there is no evidence 'whatsoever' that tiger cheated on his wife. again, if you knew a god damn thing about anything, you woudl realize taht just last week in australia there was a minor scene in teh hotel lobby because this woman is obssessed with him. She literally threw herself in front of him as he was about to go up into the hotel, and mutiple players and caddies watched as he had his security escort her out. She is nothing more than a party host who has a history of trolling famous men.

He's not good for the game of golf just because of kids but because of the worldwide growth and stimulation of the game. if Tiger hadnt came around, professional golf would have been dead a long time ago.

Seems like trouble is the only one who knows jack shit about anything in this thread....

I still haven't read the thread, but if we are pointing out the injustices in society, then yeah, that's a f'ed up truth. Money talks and bullshit walks. It always has and it always will. It's where greed stems from. Thousands go to jail unwarranted every day. If home boy was about to get on the road all f'ed up, then he needs to get served his due. There are consequences to being an idiot. The PGA Tour WAS NOT just fine before Tiger Woods came along. Sponsorship & TV ratings were regularly declining. Before Woods came along, the TV Networks would only broadcast a couple hours, of one round , of any PGA event. Hell, the networks would even switch-over to 60 minutes on Sunday in the middle of the final round of a fucking major!

How many times have you seen the networks switch over to any other program when Woods is playing? Thats right, NEVER!

Nobody has to like Tiger Woods, however, the numbers don't lie. PGA sponsorships & TV ratings have more than doubled since Tiger came along. Hell, when Woods took time off last year to rehab TV ratings declined more than 50%!

Following Tigers smashing 1997 Masters victory, television rights fees from American Networks alone doubled to over $400 million. In 2004 they more than doubled again to over $850 million. And all the players on the PGA Tour since Tiger arrived can thank Woods for the sharp rise in purses as well. These fees are what contributed to the increase prize money. For example: total prize money at the 1997 Players Championship was around
$ 1.1 million , a couple years later in 2002 it was $9 million, ect. ect.
