Hey I'm about to set up a 2000w tent also.. any advice on setting up ventilation and carbon filter? does it all fit in the tent alright

yes bro, it all fits in the tent just fine, just get urself a good tent. the hydrohut silver editions seems to be the tits bro. Im not sure how to offer any advice other than what Iv posted here and how I set mine up. one big piece of advice is that if ur gonna have 2kw in a 4x8 tent, you NEED to have nice air cooled reflectors with a killer fan sucking all that hot air out of the tent, and COMPLETLY OUT of the room the tent is in! if the tent is in a bedroom and you just vent the lights out of the tent, the whole room will heat up and ur temps will be shit....if you blow it all RIGHT OUT of the whole room itself, should be primo. I use an 8 inch vortex fan with 2 8 inch blockbuster hoods, perfect for a 4x8 tent...and I use a 6 inch fan and 6x24 phat/phresh filter...altho I may need alittle bit bigger of a filter, it works amazing untill about the last 3-4 weeks, even then still works great, but some smell def. leaks out alittle bit. harvest is gonna be super duper stinky. Im not gonna dry in the tent because I dont wanna blast any fans or filters when I dry. Iv always dried with no air movement, just kind of let them dry slow in thier own stank LOL. if you dry the plant out before harv, mold shouldnt be a issue. Im afraid of any type of air movement drying shit out too quick. and if I had it all hung in the tent with all fans and filters cut off, the walls would be dripping from condensation for a few days, humidity would go thru the roof. no good.

and last but not least, we have the ECSD. she can be tuff to dial in. I only had 2 of these this round, but they def. came out better than the last round, especially this one...

How much you expecting? 1.25 lb per light?

Im expecting 1.5 per light, hoping for 2. we'll see. hard to tell. if u look back a few pages, I got alittle over 2 lbs from the last run! and that was SPARCE in 3 gal pots...this time 5 gal pots, and u cant even see the tent floor. so Im hoping for atleast 3.

I ran a co2 boost bucket in the tent all thru veg and 3/4 of flower. thats why they grew so nutty in veg and took over the tent!!!

buckets are more affective in a sealed room. the first time I used co2 boost bucket i was AMAZED. never seen a thing like it. but it was just a bedroom w a light hangin and a window AC running. no venting out really, no fan, they were just soaking in it. it works great still in the tent, but a sealed AC room is where co2 really shines. I think the buckets are fire, but I will say they only work as good or better than a tank in the RIGHT situation and setup. overall I think youd see more from a tank, just depends on if i wanna lug tanks back and forth every few weeks and set up a regulator, timer, monitor, all that jazz. the buckets are plug n play, thats it.

Nice grow! been shopping for a tent and 1000w setup. Have you used the 4 x 4 ? If so, what about 2k in one that size? Think it would fry it or is the heat easy enouh to control?
