I´m gonna lurk in the back and learn a few tricks.
First i´m copycat that sound proof box Not really, it´s just that i´m making one quite similiar, cool to know that you´re having good results with yours.
Very clean&tidy, nothing like around here.
Thanks for sharing it and please keep up the green work
The room looks great and the plants look great. I also like the style involved, easy on the eyes. This is my first thread subscription, think its gonna be a good one, thanks.
I also top and tie, a bit different but cant wait to see how this goes. I do it for a few reasons, keep the plants short and open up the middle but also my plants are fairly set in place so when I tie down it is also to fill an open space in the canopy.
gonna check in often.
Man, i´m looving the extreme bondage!
If i can ask where are you tying the strings? By looking at the shots it seems the strings are popping out from the soil...
I know what they are. We use plenty of those while training fruit trees.
Nice idea brother, why didn´t i thought about it?!
Saves me from having to drill holes on all pots Nice!!!
Yes! I've found it! The thread I always wanted... I knew with the name "Team Microbe" I was in the right place.
Howdy TM, first of all, that is some gifted work you've got pictured. Secondly, I was shocked reading your intro because it parallels my own experience almost to the letter o_0
I've gone from soil, to coco, to hydro.. always rolling the dice and coming up with mixed results. Last year, I moved to CO and on my first visit to what has become my premier grow shop, "True Living Organics" was suggested as a good read. My only regret is that I didn't read that book that very day...long story short:
I'm into a second round of planting with my first TLO-based grow. I went all out, even scrapped my old HPS for an Ushio Opti-Blue / LED panel combo. I've been extending my reading based on the suggestions at the end of TLO, and I just started "Worms Eat Mt Garbage" by Mary Appelhof, but had "Teaming With Microbes" as my next one on-deck!
And as I'm struggling with this first round of TLO, I started searching for a forum on it, and what do you know...kismet. I have subscribed and will be watching closely, I feel like there's a ton potential for learning synergy here.
Cheers sir!
Looking great!
another one that pick up a chair and watch the show!!
i dig your style, im gonna follow this one!
K+
TM-Thank you for that, and even before I have one single question I have learned an amazing extended fact! I know Rev is a big fan of the rice in the mix for micro food, but pro-biotic rice? Brilliant!
I'm actually studying Soil Science at a major university, and finally getting to the point where my coursework and 'home research' are intersecting. My reading speed isn't currently able to keep up with my curiosity, but I'm doing what I can!
I looked deeper into main-lining and definitely will give it a go when I've got some more healthy growth--I'm definitely struggling with that learning curve, but my oldest TLO plants are only about a month. I think some might be past the point of no return...I got so conditioned into being careful not to burn with even "soup-style pseudo-organic" grows that really I think the micros took over and starved them. I think my biggest mistake was not spiking on the first transplant, which I've done with evidently nice results on a contingency planting of a bunch of dispensary bag seeds I had (since I of course used up all my breeder fems on that first one..haha, oh well just knowledge gained).
in my expirience main-lining is good for big plants in indoor or for outside grows, has it needs a lot of veg time to get the 8-16-32 colas, for less colas is better to have just single plants
