sorry

sorry

sorry MASHUP, but what size round airstone do you use? i found these at 5" for 5$ but not sure if it is a cheap one.

http://www.aquariumguys.com/bubbled...n=FROOG&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=Shopping

got a link to where i can get any? checked my local stores and gott nada.

and to add to the thread..i do multiple strains all the time with just one set of nutes. everything is always a bushy monster. i think your nutes are high imo. i usually try try to stay 450-590 at that stage.haha 590 looks better than if i put 600 haha.i start 600+ when the fuckers are big ie: (cause you know you cant just say big and not specify), well, i guess this would actually depend on the grower since you might not make your plants as big as i do,but i would not hit 600 untill at least 16-18" maybe even 24 if they all look like they are not needing it.but i usually flower between 28-32" i dont even think i hit over 1100 ever.usually around 800-900 and they produce ridiculously.i think you should do the less is more method untill they start askin for nutes..

btw, i like the system.but man u spend alot of money lol. i wonder if it would be a cram to have 2 plants trained in one huge 8gal tub. One day ill be able to DIY my own plastic and shit then costs of shit will be through the floor boards.

EDITED:for some wording and typos instead of writing i am fuckin stoned, but i seriously am.

I second that on the nutes. The highest mine get is about 900. Less is more for sure you cant lose they'll love it.Did them roots start exploding yet? Mine are about 10" long and 4 " wide by the second week and the plants become robust in growth in week 2.

Appreciate all of the feedback guys. Your advice is going to help me dial things in at an accelerated rate. Given the PPMs you guys use, it's safe to say I was experiencing lockout. I got it down to 450-500PPM today.

That round air diffuser I scored is 8" and ran about $35. Provides a higher number of smaller bubbles when compared with the 12" rod type. Impressive quality.

LOL, onahah, don't sweat the money. This is for great entertainment and of course overkill. I'm well aware of bubblegum and bailing wire as I was a DIY kind of guy a few years back. I've gotten so used to starvation and savoring a bologna sandwich when the occasion arises that I figured, "Hell, why not dump every red cent into a rad grow."

So here we are...

It's confirmed. I was definitely way over the line with the PPM.

They're loving it around 500PPM, down from almost 750PPM.

Would've been scratching my head a few more days on that one.

Thanks for keeping me in line dudes.

Thanks for checkin' things out. The T5s have been great in the GrowLab. Even without the A/C, heat wasn't an issue.

Right on man, enjoy the show.

You've got me well excited.

Let's not have me shooting to the moon on nutes anymore, then everything should be groovy.

Really nice. I love the setup.

Are you going to build a scrog screen pico-style later on? Any plans?

Thanks.

I just picked up the 2" PVC and fittings today. Didn't make it home in time to light up the chop saw though.

Not that it matters because my space case mind let me walk right out of Home Depot AND Lowes today without even checking for the screen material. Should be a done deal tomorrow.

Hopefully this will keep you entertained.

Dam am wanting to invest $1300 on just buying one, but it looks like you guys know how to build your own grow room. With those $1300 am investing should i just make my own or buy a closet with everything already built inside?

I'm a little buzzed, but you're not making too much sense. Could you be a little more specific for me please?

What are you referring to that costs $1,300?

Make your own hydro system, room, or?

I'll be honest and say my setup is not cheap. $1,300 gets you the New Wave T5 fixtures and bulbs. I'm a gear whore, what can I say? I eat, sleep and dream about growing.

Most of the stuff was spotted in garden magazines like Maximum Yield, Urban Gardener (My fav) and the like. My LGS had to set up a few accounts just to get a couple items for me, which was nice.

I can help anyone build a list of stuff they need if it's a serious tent grow. I've been in these things since the first Homebox. I'm hooked.

EDIT: Maximum Yield has PDF files of all their issues for free on their website.

and that list will be really helpful. I just love how you set it up. Thanks

I wont write a list until you say you can drop around 5 grand. I'll be around 10 after it's all said and done, both tents.

Bare in mind I'm talking about a 10' x 10' with 4 1000w or 6 600w, this is just a stepping stone to that.
