The China Syndrome
In that pic above of your lights, is the fan PUSHING air though the lights? I thought it was better to pull... negative air pressure would be pulling air in through all the little cracks in the refelctors and around the glass, but by pushing, the lights heat is escaping back into the room, isn't it? Don't you think it'd be better to have the inline fan between the last light and where the duct exits the room?
Looks great otherwise, just thought i'd nitpick
Ah yes, somehow I overlooked the last word in the thread title... Sealed! and thought there was a 90 at the end of the ducting going through the wall. Even like that though, I'd think some heat would pushed out of the reflectors onto the canopy with that config, unless they are very well sealed like you said. I was thinking if you had the fan on the other side, and even if the cracks/glass were not so well sealed, if anything it would draw a little heat away from under the light and create a little air flow around/through the canopy. Don't mind me though, I'm a lowly .6k guy! haha
TURBD has a good idea too, except maybe holes in the wall or ceiling aren't desireable, and maybe he lives in a hot climate and doesn't want to heat the rest of the house. Completely sealed, lights included like this, is probably best for stealth, and hot air gushing out the side of the house could be seen by that evil eye in the sky.
