I was under the impression joes 91 came to the community via schroomy labeled as 'original diesel' and it was mistaken because chem was called diesel that it was the original 91. I grew that plant, it was ok but nothing like the other chems.

Nah man...that's just another rumor...grown both...shroomy's 'Original Diesel' was quite a bit different than Joe B's 91 cut. I think Docta has grown both out recently too and can back me up on that. :tiphat:

Thai stick 1976 x Kandahar 1971 = blue orca, the " one " , mary poppins, the Nazi's Cut, the Commander's Cut, Sparkling Crystals and a few others that no longer exist.

All from the same breeding cycle in 1984' ..... Clackamas Cootz ( B.O.E.L ) member

from what i read.. some people didnt like the chemdawg name.. and they renamed it diesel. or sour diesel.. there all from the same family atleast.. we will never KNOW the EXACT TRUTH.. until plant DNA is done on original clones that we can say ARE DEFF THE ORIGINALS.. and then do dna on the rest of the chems and see how common they are..

Completely off topic and completely unrelated to anything with this thread.

really .... ??? the building blocks from the boel.... they imported ALL the dank in the first place.

ok, carry on with the 4 elite phenols in a seeded bag of 15 magic seeds , lol, f1 or f2 bud ... the magic mother spitting out elites by the seed. have not seen that yet ...
anyone who has popped seeds knows the randomness from seed make that tall tail a little hard to swallow ....

but we have the blue orca in pics thats a dead ringer for bubba / scal master .... & 7 other phenols that rocked the streets in the mid 80's. also, the drug war forced these guys indoors, koot said they worked hybrids for the indoor getting under way. dj short says much of the same thing, his genetics also came from oregon & the boel.

& since we have a male seed, that means this plant was seeded that this bag came from, but they claim no other bag had seeds .... just that o.z, does not add up from the start.

so ya frank, seeing the picture thats been painted about the chem 91' being the mother of all og's, kushes just does not add up.

I certainly wouldn't doubt that the legendary strains of today are at least partly built on some of the legendary strains from back in the day.

I've been looking into Swami Seeds' Zazen (Blue Orca x Nl5 Haze) and Cascadian Frost (The One x Blue Moon Rocks). Gotta be gold in those two...

Are any of these the Chem '91 clone / cut?

NO.

So how are you NOT off topic? Why are you always so damn argumentative when you are clearly incorrect?

Let's keep the thread about the Chem '91 and siblings.

Otherwise - if you want to speculate about random genetics - start your own threads...

Thus we called the Chemdog Cut OG Kush or just "The Kush." MORE PICS, as requested....

.

ECSD is the Chemdog x Massachusetts Super Skunk - or the Original Diesel with MSS, not sure on that one. But, yes, these are all related - can be traced back to that original oz of bud from Colorado brought back to the east coast and grown out bagseed the result

This is the Casey Jones - Also related..

This is Triple Diesel ECSD x NYCD x Strawberry Diesel

On Left - the bud on the right is the OG Kush, Greenhouse grown.. Right - OG Kush/Chemdog Cut Bagseed..

Quite the contrary, OldLuck. There are a good few, but sorting through the seeds is as we all know, a 9 month process. To illustrate the bagseed phenomenon, the pic on the right is from a bag of My Chemdog Cut - one of only perhaps 3 beans found over 10 years - the progeny bears almost NO resemblance. Had a different and not pleasing smell and flavour - a completely different look - high yield, and no essential oils.

An example of a winner - SSSDH is great. There are so many OG Kushes out there now. Rare Dankness has a couple. There are much more. Some from a seed company that shall remain nameless but not blameless - who I do not endorse, as they steal the cuts if necessary for their success. Like they did from My Mother Room in NorCal.

I know ISP has chem 91 bx2 (f2) beans available atm. I was looking at those but haven't seen any grows or reviews, and don't know anything about that company, so decided to hold off. Anyone know about the breeder or run those?
