vote NO!!!!!!!!!!
How can anyone not vote yes? I mean regardless of who you are or what you do for a living, it's about human rights not grower rights. We can start small and improve it next time. I'm tired of being a second class citizen because I use mj !! Who are you to deny me and everyone else this freedom? Greedy motherfuckers everyone of you who are against it. Money is the root of all evil and you all are turning to the dark side.
The greedy ones are the ones that are gonna KILL it if it legalizes , with there big wearhouse grows and investments. fuck those people. Growing high grade cannabis is what i do for a living just a mom and pop type operation. It just makes me sick to my stomach looking at prices and what they would be if it was full blown legal
this is so bad.
can't believe anyone is on board with this pseudo-legalization
actually i can because there's money in it. just like there was money behind prohibition.
if we do things because of money we will never get it right.
Get a small greenhouse. No indoor warehouse gonna grow weed as cheap as a greenhouse!
I don't care how big it is.
We're talking about doing business in America right? It's always about the money. Fairy tale over.
no, we are talking about politics. We're talking about doing business in America right? It's always about the money. Fairy tale over.
Growing 6 plants for personal use is bait? Carrying an ounce in your pocket around town for personal use is bait? You want more?
6 plants is ridiculous. I had more than 6 plants in my first grow in 2000. Seeds come in packs of 10 or 15. You can't just plant 6 and have a decent chance of getting one with top quality genetics. It would take over a year just to grow out a couple packs of seeds.
My harvests are over a pound of bud and over a pound of trim with a little 1000 watt light. That's for personal use. Setting the limit at 1 ounce is like saying you can brew your own beer, but no more than a 12 pack at a time.
Ok so here is a conundrum. If you allow for more plants for personal grows, you put more mom an pop growers out of business. And a pound for personal use? Jesus it would take years for me to go through a pound, especially if it's high grade.
An ounce of weed would last me nearly two months, maybe longer depending on quality. It's not a fair comparison to alcohol. Stoners know this.
edit: Oh, and if you want to grow more, apply for a license.
What happened to that Herer Initiative? I thought, I guess in my naitiveity that that was what was going to be voted on in November. I guess I was wrong, as this bill is a far cry from that! Did/does that version ever stand a chance? Either it is legal or not, you should be able to grow 1 or 1 million plants!
Yeah but here's the thing, you're a teetotaler in a room full of seasoned whisky guzzling drunks. An ounce might last me two days. I carry about 4 ounces on me at a given time and I'm not selling. Legalizing just a single ounce isn't legalizing much especially since you already get a ticket only for one ounce. Now I'm a medical patient and if AUMA passes I am still subject to the one ounce limit. That is a disgusting alteration of my prop 215 protected right to carry what I need.
I will vote for a legalization initiative that treats Cannabis like alcohol, period. I consider these potential infractions, fines and jail eligibility to be discrimination against people who use Cannabis and I won't accept it. And no I won't vote for it because they put a "legalize" sticker on it, if I can still go to prison we will just have to burn this one to ashes and work with what we've got til 2018 or 2020.
Fuck all this authoritarian bullshit. If I can fill my vehicle to the brim with unopened alcohol bottles I should have the same level of liberty with my dope.
