I dont even know if Ill be able to watch anymore of the games. The bullpen has been hard to watch!
If we dont start winning a few series its gonna be tough to catch anyone in the west...
Seatle is playing good ball too.
The Astros even beat up on the Angels! Its really unbearable!

we just had the Mariners in The Bronx, in was good to see Cano there too, I wondered if he'd show us some 'no hustle' on the base paths, he didn't disappoint.
he missed so many opportunities as a Yankee, he'd break out of the batters box real slow, only to see a bobbled ball beat him to 1st base where instead he should have been standing safe had he hustled from the start.
anyway, later innings in the 2nd game and Cano hits a chopper off the dirt in front of the plate that sails into the very short outfield where it's bobbled instead of being played cleanly, Cano though, after seeing/thinking it was going to be played as an easy out lowered his head right out of the box and kept it down as he trotted slowly toward first, then he turned on the afterburners when his teammates screamed for him to get moving, he never saw that the ball had been misplayed, he was too slow in getting to the bag.......
he was out though,
You can blame that loss on the horrible, and uncalled for, throw to third by the inexperienced cutoff man. Clearly that is the reason you guys lost that game.
Wasnt the point of my post. Just that the "traditions of baseball' has lost something with the instant replay. As I said, it can be good, bad, and sometimes, just plain ugly...Just my opinion...cc
With the new replay system now in use, it was bound to happen. The first "walk off win' from a call reversal. Bottom of the 9th, Giants/Pirates tied 1-1, Pirate's Starling Marte called out at the plate, reviewed, and then called safe= Boom-bada-bing -A walk-off video replay win...
ironically, Buster Posey, Giant's catcher, couldnt fully block the plate because of another new rule (named after him- the Buster Posey rule) that prevents a catcher from doing so, to reduce collision injuries. And, insult to injury, Timmy Hudson, the Giants f'n awesome new pitcher, WENT the whole nine innings and comes away with an "L"..." Man, Where have you gone Joe DiMaggio...?" cc
