Lump, about how dry you let that coco get in between watering?

How often do you water?

In reference to the first question, is it strain related, and particularly the cooks and pie?

Thanks in advance. I'm doing side by sides of cookies in coco, and pro-mix to see which I like better. I forgot to do it with the pie, and planted them all in pro-mix, but everything looks happy. Should be flipping soon.
Lovely pics as always. I cannot believe you pull those off with your phone.

Lovely pics as usual Lump...I am hoping my cookies and pie look like that. I am vegging mine huge though. At least 7 gallons. About what week do those male flowers appear on the cp?

@Infinitesimal - the scissor hash is great! The wax will blow your mind though!

@PNW - I allow the top to become uniformly dry before watering. When full grown the coco beds are usually watered every other day. When the plants are young and first planted into the beds, they are watered initially, and don't usually need another watering for about a week. The advantage of the beds is that the coco usually dries evenly as plants roots grow towards moisture, some plants will have roots that grow half way or further across the table allowing them to draw moisture from all over. Some strains grow significantly more root mass than others so it dies vary slightly.

@hempluvr - I start to notice them 3-4 weeks in....maybe sooner if you have a good eye. They start out green, quickly turn brown and die off, you will find them in your coco sometimes. But so far I've never seen any pollen come from them. Like I said though, not all cp plants will even show them.

hey lump loving the pics !! i thought i saw u use a gs3 to take your pics i have the same phone but the hps lights still mess with the color of the photo any tips n hintS?

I turn off the lights of whatever tables I'm taking photos of, sometimes I even take pics in the dark or with green flood lights on (lights i use when working in the room during lights off). You will never get good coloring under hps.

Get an app that turns on your led light and keeps it on. Turn it on, then open the camera so you will have a full time flashlight. Adjust your exposure up or down as needed to make the pic look the way you like. Also, try some of the white balance settings such as incandescent or daylight.

Play with your options until the image on the screen looks how you want, cause that's what it will look like exactly. Make sure you hold down the shutter button for a sec to focus on the center object properly. If it focusses it will turn green, if not it turns red. Use macro mode when taking pics up close.

Hope this helps!

wow great stuff Lump!
Insane how big that cookie cola is! very impressive.
Looks like you got everything looking super happy.
That larry berry has the best smell at around 30 days, like a sour skittle. Ive noticed the smell changes to a more eucalyptus blue as it finishes, i desperately wish it kept that sour skittle smell throughout. but ive seen a bit of variety in terms of how she turns out.
Got some beans of her crossed to reversed valley og, as well as some beans of her crossed to reverse sour dubble. So eventually id like to pop some of those to see whats in there.

Cant wait to watch everything finish up for you
