I'm super stoked that I got a pack of these with my Hashberry!

I expect my next run to be half PPxQuerkle, half Blubonic (or Blue Satellie 2.2 - haven't made up my mind yet)

Also, those macro shots look incredible. What kind of camera & lens are you using to capture those?

The structure is certainly Peyote, but looks delicious as her too...ive never tried the querquel.

I've got a 5 pack of Purple Frostbyte, along with a 10 pack of the Peyote Purple... that mocha coffee flavor is what I'm after.

I'm going to grow them together... next run, after the BCC.

if a PP leaning Frostbyte dude accidentally dusted a frosty PP lady, I wouldn't get upset

my cross and pp are very close in appearance. If we look at the genetics of PP we have Bubba. The genetics of Querkle is Urkel and space queen. I Know Space Queen is Romulan x C99. I was hoping to get the flavor better on the PP side. I like the flavor more on Querkle then I do with pp. Both are super potent. I was also hoping to get a yield boost. The buds did get more dense then PP is. I might do a few BX to see what happens there.

I read where the C99 was added to the Romulan for speed... i wonder if Querkle would be an F4, since C99 = F1 (bro.s Grimm) or F2 (GN)

So many poly-hybrids, so little genealogy information.

The Purps have about as elusive a back story as Bubba. but I read one thing that says they are Skunk #1 x Kush one thing says Northern Lights x Purple Indica.... and so on....

The Mendo Purps (where Purple Urkle comes from) are said to have a caramel coffee flavor, I hope that will come out somewhere in my F4-5's or whatever.

I know personally querkle is great smoke. My father-in-law loves it. as with most broadleaf, high cbd strains .... he's an Indica lover.

good luck .... I want to make sure everyone knows how these where made and with what genetics. I have said this earlier in the thread Since I used a s1 there can be a possibility of Hermie's showing up. I have grown 50+ plants of Peyote Purple out of all of them I got 1 plant that was a male this is why CBG does not list them as fem seeds. No Hermie's in any of the plants. Kaiki did a fantastic job making the PP seeds.

I finally found the means to get one of these started. Zero veg, 1 gallon smart pot, happy frog soil, tiger bloom, fimmed at fifth node (i missed), 150 watt hps. Super excited to see this girl develop. I love the extended fan leaves, tempted to give the plant a high five every time I see it.

Wow Hammerhead this cross really did come out beautifully. I think there are a lot of recessive purple phenotypes to be found in many of the popular strains around today. When selfed the recessive alleles align expressing some very interesting often more psychoactive *drug characteristics. There is a phenotype of Shark shock that is from shanti's early stock that guys in South Africa have been growing for years. I should note this is a very high yielding phenotype. I recently came across some hermed seeds from an old plant perhaps expressing some stress. I was stumped when one of the seeds turned out to be a male. More interestingly it is also a strong purple phenotype, the entire stem is completely purple. It is as though the plant has opted to use a secondary accessory pigment and completely abandoned chlorophyl as the main pigment for absorption of light. I do realise this could be a result of temperature fluctuations or lack of nitrogen but all many plants from this generation expressed heavy purpling. Anyway sorry to Hijack or digress from your amazing plants but just thought I would post a pic of my male .

Funny that you mentioned an accessory pigment ,OrganicM.I made bubble hash with my ppxq trimmings and the water was deep purple.
First rinse was dark and gummy.Second rinse,the hash was lighter but the water was still purple.

I havn't smoke the hash yet but Purple Frostbite Is some refreshingly nice smoke and truly a joy to grow.I marveled over the plants the whole time they were growing and yesterday, me and some friends smoked all day.P.F. put us to bed last night with a smile

Just started a few PF's in a 2x2 tent under 150w hps + 120 watts of CFL. I use this small, medical set-up only for vegging clones and starts before going outside, but I'm thinking I'll try to finish one of these in here as an experiment. No expectations at all -- even pollen would be fine. Looks like a nice strain Hammerhead, thx.

So out of 5 beans only one popped. I think it may have been too cold.

Now the one that's left is showing balls I think, but it's only about 5 weeks old...is that about right Hammerhead?

I think I'll just ride this out and see what happens. If it's a girl I'll start a new thread.

Heres some at 38 days. Got these two phenos out of 5 seeds, threw them into the flower room in dixie cups as soon as they rooted, then transplanted them into 1 gals a week or so later. They are on the outside of the garden, but are the frostiest in the room.

More Purple Frostbyte. This thing is a definite winner. Very dense nugs, incredible aroma, sweet grape and coffee and fuel skunk funk, don't know how else to describe it. Resin is real greasy and off the charts. Can't wait to smoke her.
