Hey MummyCat, I know you'll put that male to good use. Hopefully you make plenty of seeds and maybe a pile of extras lol. I just hope this strain makes its to SBay 1 day. I know 2 breeders working with it but i'm not sure what they're plans are really. 1 was doing it pure but i'm not sure if they are going to be vending here that much and the other will probably make a few hybrids before possibly making it a seedline, i'll have to check. I have the Sage going so hopefully I find some BSHW phenos. Your plants look very nice by the way. The high ya'll speak of is definately something i'm after.

Hey Chomba64, good luck with your seed making and isolating the purple pheno. Do both of ya'll plants go completely purple in late flower?

Hey blan-k-flor, that was a nice looking plant. Sorry to hear about the mold issues. Something i'm trying to keep an eye on with these Sages. Will treat early for mold right before and at the beginning of flower (also along the way). Trying to wipe out those possible spores early rather than battle em once they set in good.

Hopefully the BSHW makes a come back. It sounds like too great of a strain to let slip away, I pray that never happens. Would love to see some more pics during different stages of growth and some more nug shots. Any more smoke reports? They've all sounded great so far. Take care 1

I promise to make a shitload of pure seeds and do what I can to get them out there. I can see why breeders aren't putting out the pure line but rather crossing it to better yielding plants.

I really like her just the way she is though, just a gorgeous plant to grow, everyone that see's her in the garden has to comment. The nugs are best cured for 6+ months and they get a lot less harsh but also less "trippy." I found that they were the most potent cured only a few weeks but terribly harsh to smoke. The early cured buds had a kind of sour and metal shop smell with some hash undertones and the longer cured buds were much more hashy with a more underlying metal shop smell if that makes sense.

The buds stay kind of silvery green with a little bit of black (purple), the stems are dark dark solid purple. The shade leaves turn from dark green with purple veins to fire orange in the fall, it's absolutely magnificent.

I am going to breed the purple pheno seperate and the green pheno also seperate. I also have a very very short squat pheno I have isolated. I have had very dark green leaves and also lime green leaves on different plants.. Great heirloom to work with.
MummyCat, What do your males look like. I have one totally purple stem one. I hope to get a green stem male also.

very interesting, all my plants have dark dark purple stems, and purple veined leaves. All of my plants look exactly like the purple pheno you posted pics of

Someone has selected for the purple phenos...The purple phenos internodes are slightly more spaced that the green stem phenos. Mine are anyway...I will open some up and post a pic of what mine look like..

KantCShyt, My buds are not purple. Stems of the purple pheno. One line has lime green leaves with pink pistils. Tho other one has very dark green leaves with a darker bud. 14' plus by 6-7' wide. Peace

stagehand I gotta agree with your assessment of the original BSHW.......it was a sativa rocketship...........

I have tended the cut thadocta had yr's back along with many hybrids of BSHW and what I considered the original of years ago as I was fortunate to have few connects in the area.......none match the original's potency/flavor.....

I am now working with few of Bodhi's Big Sur Holy Bud and hopin' for a blast from the past.....


all the best in keeping whatever line one has for the future plantings.........

I popped a pack of Bodhi's BSHW a while back, and am just starting to finish all of them. So far I have harvested two of the 5 female pheno's, #2 and #1. #2 wasn't too bad, a much lighter buzz with a pretty good sweet smell. #1 blows it out of the water though, in all departments. Buzz is very strong, immediately feel it behind your eyes after hitting it. It has a very strong smell/taste of grape skittles? And it yielded great, 4oz in a 2gal smart pot.

Ill post about the other 3 pheno's as they come down. Keep up the great discussion guys.

nice bro,have a grip of Bodhis BSHW goin myself right now, have 2 males and think 5 females in a GH. was told they were more indica side of the line, but have a stretchy male and female in the mix. gonna make seed with all of um, and then work the seed off the best females.

think i need to hit him up for some of the sativa side as well
