Death to all rapist, period. I could never even convict a brother, or father, etc, for anything in doling out revenge for this unspeakable act upon another. In my opinion, this is justifiable homicide pure and simple.

It is a tricky thing though. From a raw scientific truth, a boy ejaculating, a girl menstruating, signifies being of age, though modern society has often set this up differently. I personally would have a difficult time convicting anybody (of scientific age) for consensual sex.

I would imagine if you were to ask your friends if your mother would be justified in killing this woman for what happened they would say no, and then they would begin to understand their blunder in their misinterpretation of the word rape. -T

I think most people prefer to think of their daughters as fragile little porcelain dolls. They don't even like to think of their daughters blowing their own husbands even after they become adults.

And there are statistically some very good reasons for child-protective laws like statutory rape.

But people are individuals and mature at different rates.

I have known some 23 year old women who probably shouldn't be having sex and I've known some 15 year old women (when I was also around that age) that were way more ready for sex than those 23 year olds I was just describing.

When i was 12, I had my first sexual encounter with a girl a few years older than me, but she was ALSO under the age of consent. Neither of us complained.

The really strange thing is, some people have been charged with statutory rape even if they were YOUNGER than the "victim". (Like, a 12 year old BOY and a 16 year old GIRL have sex. The BOY gets convicted of statutory rape, even though he was younger than his "victim.")

When we attempt to legislate morality, we end up with a lot of grey answers that cannot be answered yes or no.

SOME people below the age of consent (which can vary from 14 in some places to 18 in others) WOULD be victimized by this sort of encounter... and some would not.

Under most legal definitions, the best she did to you was statutory sodomy, since I'm guessing you do not have a vagina. (And most definitions of rape involve penetration of the vagina.)

By age 15, anything with a pulse and a reasonable BMI that looked my way would've got it. (and many did.)

Men need to go back to the days where they dated women 5-10 years their younger instead of simply whoever is in their grade or what the law mandates.
