Now, I understand that technically, I was not old enough to consent being a few months shy of legal age, but I did, and I had a bloody great time in that short dalliance-- talk about a learning experience LOL.
Anyway, to get to the point, 5 out of 7 people(not including me) were horrified and said she should have gone to prison, calling her a paedophile and a rapist.
I don't think I was raped, and I didn't back then-in fact back then I thought all my Christmas and birthdays had come at once.

When it happened? Probably not, most people would have been okay with the scenario you described. It's just a Mrs. Robinson story as portrayed in the classic 1967 movie "The Graduate". Not exactly the same because at least Dustin was considered of legal age but still back then people didn't have such a problem with a scenario like you describe.

Now a days though with this sort of thing happening so frequently and involving people in positions of trust and/or authority it's come to a point of near zero tolerance for many people.

Personally I disagree with the notion that someone 15 is too young to make the choice to give consent to sex. If that were really the case then should it not also be illegal for two 15 year olds to engage in sex since neither are consider mature enough to give consent and yet many places that is not a crime. Now had this woman dragged you off against your will and forced you to have sex then yes, it should be treated as rape, otherwise it should be something kept between the people involved and not put on trial in the court of public opinion.
