Bubba Kush

F

Fluffy Clouds

I got her to reverse rather easy with some 30ppm CS. Started spraying 10 days before flowering was induced and this is where she is at 20 days in:) I went through a good amount of CS, soaking the plant every morning, but she is ALL male as you can see. Hope this helps!

My friend came to town with fresh cut bubba kush (pre 98 or whatever has been handed down to him, is the real bubba kush, his dad grew it and passed it on). Being one who gave the GHS bubba a couple tries we got to do a side by side taste and impact test.

The real bubba kush wins out. I find the GHS bubba to be great weed but wish they called it something else but what else is new in marketing and trademarking names, etc.... the real bubba has more odor, a stronger and perhaps more pungent gas/skunky odor about it, slightly more purple. The flavor is stronger and the potency greater on the real. My GHS yielded better in my own tests and I found the GHS once again nice for the cost, but if you want the real bubba you smoked somewhere along the path of life I'd say somehow find a clone, I doubt a seed version will ever live up the real deal.

I swear, pre-98 bubba and LVPK are damn near difficult to distinguish phenotypically. I bet I could post up my LVPK without prior saying anything and it would fly under the radar quiet well in this thread. She even smells like the last Oscar of pre-98 i was smoking on.

Smoking some GHS Bubble Kush, I wont call it bubbakush as it is a bubble/kusk cross not the real Bubba. Watch out for the pheno that has sativa calxyes on an indica frame. It looks like huge colas will develop, but by the time you trim the leaf off there's fuck all there. There is also a rock pheno with dense nugs and a purple smell. Thats the pheno u need.

Good luck I didnt like it. Has weird earthy dirty taste hidden in fumes of perfume and lavender. If you're a cheese dude you'll hate it.....

Ps, that photo is funny, 'Target creature' who's smoking the shit area 51 experimental subjects?1 Peace 'Target creature' where that from area 51?

very nice pics homer. i love the hashy/coffee pheno pure indica hit nice golf ball chunky nugs. i got some bubba o kush f2 seeds in the fridge i made a while ago from seeds from mota/rushman. mota got a male og kush what he used to pollenate the pre 98 bubba and then rushman crossed it to a dif bubba i think pre2000.

hey frank ive got lots of male flowers - the tops are all male now!.. but i havent actually seen any pollen yet. the cab that im keeping them in is 'plumbed in' vent wise to my flowering cab so i have to be VERY careful messing about with boys ;)
so far ive picked a few flowers off before they've opened and that hasnt yielded any pollen (i dry them in containers filled with silica gel).
so now ive cut the branches and put them in water in a deep open top container where if the flowers open they wont spread pollen about my grow - i hope. normally i keep them on a widowsill but its been too cold recently.
oh the joys of 'breeding' with a tiny ass setup :D

the other avenue i am persuing is a BX. ive crossed bubba to mr G's cherrybomb and have just germed some of those seeds and hopefully will bx a suitable male to the bubba cut. i was impressed with how the CB performed in my Cherryjuana cross (heri x CB) it seemed to be pretty light handed on the heri - just improving yield and smell/taste a little, but the heri was quite dominant. if it does the same thing to the bubba then it could make a good outcross.
the DC x bubba cross was nice but the DC was more dominant in the cross than i would have liked... so i'll keep going with the CB for now.

im running them both right now in separate rooms they are close but i can tell them apart by my eye. LVPK grow taller then 98. 98 stays short and squat if you work LVPK right shell grow nice and tall for ya and shes stretches where 98 does not... also 98 is leafier with fatter leaves...

but to someone that doesnt not know them like i do they would be very hard to distinguish as they both turn colors have kushie leafes and have relativity the same bud structure. -=]
