SCROG advice needed please.

Love it speed!:ying: Clearing out below will help loads with airflow as you know. You'll need that air flow when the fat ass buds appear :D how many cola's would you say you have in 1 screen?

Hey Shhh my friend, thanks for the compliment :) As for the amount of cola's I have not counted lol I will count them when they start fattening up then it will be easier :) After I cleared away the under growth I noticed a few more empty holes I can fill lol All I can say at the moment is I have a lot :tiphat::ying:

Week 3 update.

Week 3 update.

Hey folks,

I did my last bit of training today to a few of the light greedy colas and bend leaves etc to allow the smaller colas get more light. I am very happy with how things are so far, but had to turn on the dehumidifier today as humidity was at 70% rh so have set it at 45% rh for remainder of grow.
Enjoy the pics :tiphat::ying:

Nice mate :) Looks like a good SOG... do you plan to chop any of these fan leaves off in the middle?

Hey bro, Thanks, hope your well :tiphat::ying:

Hey Shhh mate, this is my first SCROG so I open to suggestions and helpful advice :) So do you think I should start removing the larger fan leaves from above the mesh? I dont suppose you have a photo of a SCROG where its been done, to get a better idea of what you mean? As I don't want to go to far due to the leaves being energy suppliers to the bud :) Cheers mate :tiphat::ying:

Hi roll it mate, Yeah I was thinking the same thing so unless there are any more suggestions from other more experienced members in SCROG then I will wait for more developed buds :)

Sorry speed, it was more of a question as I learning here myself... never done a scrog before but the one's I have seen people remove a lot of fans leaves... I'd wait till the stretch is done myself

Shhh :Its learning for both of us mate no need to apologise I posted this thread for help and advise ;) so will wait for the stretch to finish :)

Marathanman : Thanks mate that inspires me with confidence that its looking like its supposed to :)

Scrogerman : Lol its my first one but not my last I love this way of growing now :) its more time consuming but well worth it. Thanks mate at least I am now confident that its not fooked up and messy lol. Without all your help and diaries etc it would have been a lot tougher to do. Thanks :tiphat::ying::ying:

Hi m8 as you look into the room she is the first plant in the left tray :) as far as I can tell they are all looking about the same. I hope she can go 11 weeks as that was when I was planning to chop them all, other wise I could do them as they appear ready :) :ying::ying:

Its supposedly only goes 6 or 7 weeks but it has the benefit of being an earlier smoke.

Wee4 update

Wee4 update

Hi folks,
Well I thought that I would stop training at week 3, but today I found myself still pulling the taller colas down and tying them to create a more even canopy. I introduced Superior Potash to the feed in week 3 and can see increased bud formation and there are pistils everywhere.
E.C Is now at 1.90
PH is 6.4
I have decided I will keep training them until I can visibly see the stretch has stopped, and the buds are fattening up nicely.
I honestly believe this will be one of my biggest hauls under a 600 watt light, so SCROGGING is a fantastic method I would recommend to anybody wanting more from less.
Pics are from today, you can see how I used a bent paper clip on string to pull longer colas down. The dehumidifier is working well and keeping rh at 48% but raised temp by 1/2 degrees but still within ideal range. :tiphat::ying:
