2011 Norcal Intel

There out hot today, already seen 4 coming back in to the airport while I was out watering, all the same style small dark blue bubble type(i thought they were black for a while). Thursday I saw the large military style heli they use for actual load eradication heading east towards the lake/sonoma border area, must have found something good...

They have Predator remotes now with sophisticated cameras on the birds also. A fly over an area is all they need. Then back to the war room for plans of attack when the girls are mature and they can have larger confiscation numbers so they can show the media and the world how far the cannabis business has gotten out of control. And they need more laws, money and manpower to fight the scourge.

when i marked this as 'helpful', i meant to quote it.

do you have any actual intel to report that has the feds using predator drones for marijuana search/eradication operations on US soil or is this just speculation? As far as i know, the use of Predators on US soil is currently limited to Homeland security border operations.

While this is an interesting development in the growth of the American Police State, this thread is for posting real information regarding current operations in California. I am very interested to see what will happen in Mendocino as a result of this new classification.

The DEA has employed Predators in-country. A well placed FOAF confirmed that there are discrepancies between the amount purchased for Mexican/Border use by the DEA, and the amount actually being used. AFOAF also stated that GA(Predator Drone Manufacturer) consultants and trainers have been to the SF DEA office. I can't confirm of course, but this FOAF is, like I said, very well-placed to observe this, and I personally trust him(which i know means jack to you).

BE CAREFUL GUYS!!!

I haven't seen this many flyovers in a long time. It seems that every time I leave my house I spot a camp heli. Today I was swimming at blue lakes and there was the chopper flying all around the lakes. got to a spot and did a couple fly over at the same spot. maybe 1/4 mile of highway 20.

try and find a video where he offers meds for sale, it doesn't exist. And for the 600 or so plant count the article fails to note that 2/3 of that plant count were in multiple aero cloner sites.

again not the smartest guy on the block but no family deserves being split apart over our governments hate for nature. :tiphat:

As far as intel here on the Central Coast, I have not seen a single helicopter since the future king and queen of england had a quick day-visit within city limits over a week ago. This season started off with the most flyovers I've witnessed in this area since I can remember, and as soon as we entered July they completely stopped. Perhaps the calm before the storm?

Loved his YouTube video lol. Anyhow, in regards to predator drones, they did me old school with the plane & helicopter. Pretty short & sweet over part of my garden and took off, less than 50 holes.

I'd mentioned a week or two ago a Blue and White heli flyover, taking pics.

Lake County Sherriff's stopped by the other day. Counted plants, checked scripts. (Several plots on the same hillside...multiple parcels, multiple owners, multiple growers...etc.)

He was kind. Took pictures of one of the plots which had no medical scripts posted. The others he just walked through and rough counted.

Mind you alot of the folks sharing the hill are running ~50 plants under one script. My plot is the only one following state minimums as far as scripts/plants.

I reckon he'll be back at the end of the season to bust some heads. Who knows.

Said if we have any trouble w/ anyone to feel free to call.

Also when we asked what brought him out he mentioned it was his people in the helicopter. (good news since I assumed it was the feds)

Cheers

East bay plot found

http://dublin.patch.com/articles/police-find-thousands-of-marijuana-plants-in-las-trampas

East Bay Regional Park police officers found $1 million worth of marijuana plants Friday when they raided a growing operation in a remote ravine in the Las Trampas Regional Wilderness, police said.

Police said they found about 3,300 plants in the raid, which was conducted at 4 a.m. in an area between Castro Valley and San Ramon. No arrests were made.

That's a bigger than average haul, according to parks police Capt. Mark Ruppenthal. Authorities find about one such crop a year in Las Trampas – a 5,342 park with lots of trees, valleys and ravines.

Park police conduct daily patrols of the park property. The 3,300 plants were spotted by helicopter during routine patrols, Ruppenthal said. An elaborate irrigation system that tapped into the park's water supply was watering the crops.

"It used up enough water for us to notice a drain on our system," Ruppenthal said.

The irrigation system used PVC pipes to tap into natural springs and covered "quite a distance," Ruppenthal said. "It's absolutely elaborate."

The plants found Friday grew in a ravine, partially obscured by trees, police said. Marijuana needs a lot of sunlight to grow, so they can't be completely hidden.

These operations concern the park district because suspects remove native plants and use fertilizer, poisons and pesticides, according to police.

Budgets cuts have forced the parks department to cut some positions, Ruppenthal said. But he's still not clear how much of an affect that's had on his agency's ability to patrol the area.

"We'll have a better idea in a couple of weeks," he said. "We're looking into that."

The plants were taken to an undisclosed location and destroyed.

Anyone with information about the growing operation is asked to East Bay Regional Parks Police at (510) 881-1833.

in that first pic, how do you not expect a helicopter to see a huge path of neon green mixed in with some twiggy scrub brush? I bet that stood out from well over a mile away in the sky.
