Any plants in there yet? :D

Not a whole lot of patience, huh laylow? lol... I keep chanting grow, grow, grow... They just got a strong feed, so I expect a jump in growth... :D and they should be ready to load up Friday. I need them to yield 3oz a piece since the numbers are gonna get cut down to 32 after the males show. They might even have to veg another week in the pod... but really, a 3oz plant from seed shouldn't be that much of a challenge with a 50% skunk strain... I think I'll be ok.

don't be embarrassed about the pink ties.. I think they are absolutely breathtaking. :snap out of it:

:)

In about 2.5 months I'm gonna come back and bitch-slap the shit talkers with big fat purple skunk colas.

I'll buy a ticket to that show:)

You're doing a great job. :tiphat:

I can imagine there are going to be some grows popping up using the Bobblehead Flip Pods (TM) as the backbone.

Wish you the best of luck with hitting your goal with this run. Gonna be some happy patients up Michigan way in just a bit. Thanks to a man called Bobblehead. :ying:

before I could move forward with loading up the first flip pod, I had to get the veg tent sorted...

Life got in the way first... with a blown tire. Then the shitty crank jack in my car bent instead of lifting the car. Beat the shit out of it to get it back in shape... got the car jacked up. Got the donut on. The donut was flat. WTF...

I haven't been able to sleep well at night because I haven't had the veg tent dialed yet... because the atomizer sounds like a jet engine, and is way too loud to run at night in a residential area... Time to spend some more money...
I bought a pond fogger, and set it in 10 gallons of water. When the humidity reaches 70%, the fog goes away... :blowbubbles:
So here I am.. With a veg tent with perfectly controlled RH% that has a 435cfm fan extracting the humidified air... :dance013:

The plants will get loaded up Monday... Now that I have my humidity 100% dialed. :D

That's crazy, 4500cfm... ha ha... All of my fans put together don't add up to your extraction fan...

I know it's a joke the fan itself if buried under 8ft square of insulation it's the actual noise as the air blows out.... Loosing 3 lights next run and may even go air cooled who knows just can't sleep at the mo thinking it's to dam noisy and it's only spring now lol...

LL.....Sounds like you`re on the fence bout continuing vertical bare bulb applications in the future......

Many waysta skin a mule , but yas gotta go with what`s easiest for you.....in your situation/timeframe.......Yields will come through experience and dialed environment......

Bobbles....You need a truck......at least the spare tires ain`t doughnutzzz......LOL......Ol redneck country boy over here.....

My sunday go-ta-meeting ride`s an F-150 4 x 4 extended cab....No shit....sorry boutchas breakdown and no spare...wtf ?....

I`m gonna take folks ta school with yer pics Bro.......Fogger`s tha shit doin all it should , but your plants are in way too big a container for all that medium they`re sittin in....

At that size in coco , the plants need way less medium so they can dry out faster , be fed more , and promote more rootzone explosion in veg till end of stretch to support upper bud swellage when the time comes....

I ran clear 16 oz solo cups till fully rooted , and then into # 3 landscape pots fed once a day under T-5`s 16" above the tops to promote the heat from the bulbs in the drying process with the coco for root development.......

After couple weeks or so , they were so rootbound that once I grabbed each rootball and ripped it up while transplanting into the #5 smartpots and watering em in that I didn`t feed for a few days to promote root growth and stop transplant shock from overwatering.....then.....

Once they were couple weeks into stretch and hoonin , I raped and pillaged their asses for the next run`s cuts , as well as pruning/shaping for optimum cola/nug formation while still only feeding once a day......

Once stretch was over and swellage began , I fed twice a day with dialed results.....

Not tryinta shit in yer koolaid , but them lil girls is in way too big a container for their size , and that`s why you`re not experiencing the explosive growth you need to....the medium`s holdin too much juice and not dryin out fast enough for their own good to form the rootmass they need IME....

Just tryinta help Bro.....Don`t come bitchslap my old ass.......

Peace...Freds....:ying:.....

I suppose I am a little freds... I mean the great thing about vertical growing is the efficentcy gpw wise I mean peeps are getting gpw easy running half the light I'm running and I'm under no illusion if I was to run 5 x 1000w bulbs I could crack 1gpw with ease....

But I'm not held by the amount of light / wattage i'm more about what a room can produce no matter how many plants or watts have to be used and if I don't get 42g a plant at least then the whole vert has Been a waste of time as that's what I was getting before in this room with less light and a lot less aggro less watering not as tight ect ect......

Then again if I get 2 zips a plant I will never grow another flat garden lol....

Swing and roundabouts..... Just have to see what happens....

Freds, I've already decided I'm going to get myself a truck before the sport car. :D

Yeah, I thought I was saving myself time by putting them straight in #5's... b/c they were just going to explode anyway... I was gonna go with #2's in the future...

I've told you before, I've never been very good at vegging my plants. It always takes way too long. I can take the criticism, just don't hate on the pink zip-ties... ha ha... I get sensitive about that.

You've got some valid points, and you know I do my best to take your advice and apply it...

I've got this under control though... I was vegging all these plants with a 400w mh chained to the top of the tent. I just got another Super Sun 2, so I'll be able to hang one on each side of the tent. I can run 400's or 250's, right now 400's to keep it warm... Anyway, I'm gonna flip the light between the hoods, 10hs each... I'll be able to drop the light down right above of them now.

In the future 16 #2's per light/side. Gotta put reflectix around the bottom. This is just madness cramming all 64 in there...

Love the fog bro, I have a bunch of those foggers collecting dust from past aero experiments, gonna toss one in next run. I might have missed it, are you running it off a controller?

It'll hit 70%, but then the fog shuts off... and who wants to look at a fog machine that's not making fog? lol I love all the new toys I've got to buy... I hate all the money I spent on them...

I'm sure you'll reach your goal. Your garden is looking mighty fine. You just need to put the scrubber somewhere else imo, to take advantage of all the light...Must have been nasty hanging that thing though!

Yeah a couple pages back, it's on a controller set to 70% RH, with a 435 cfm fan extracting the humidified air, and sending it to the pod. It started off as me figuring out how to use the atomizer outside the pod, and turned into this... ha ha...

No criticism over here my buddy......only tech support fer dialage , and btw....I dig the breast cancer awareness zipties.....lol......

Per your veggin woes.....You`re too damn impatient .......Smaller containers fed more while dryin out more in between will guarantee root and foliage explosion with coco , and you know this......no shortcuts Bro.....

Man`s gotta have a truck.....and yeah ...I gotta couple nice German cars , but I luv my American trucks.....

Now back to BobbleheadYieldMachine.com....Handle it......

Peace....DHF...:ying:...

Yo Bobble, just wanted to pop in and say what's up  I saw your post in the seedbay freebie thread a little while back :tiphat:

All's good here on my end, just had a problem with some egos and some breeders not liking a mutant that came out of a pack of seeds... Turns into them wiping me off the face of IC here with no warning...

But all's good, I couldn't care less about posts and whatnot... I've got a nasty, fat casey jones girl coming down in a couple of weeks, and that is sure to wipe away any frown

I'm tagged up again, and waiting to see you blow this up.

Take care

JB

Happy to see you're on board JB. I figured you were still lurking around... :D
Stick around man, this party is getting rowdy! ha ha... Just needs some fine tuning and we're off.

You hit a stop sign? lol... in a Marine corps truck? lol... wow I can't wait to hear this story...

Thanks I'm pretty proud of how this is coming together. It's shaping up pretty nicely I think. I made enough errors last round...

Can't wait to see how you're room is looking after these past couple weeks! Be safe out there...

RE> You hit a stop sign? lol... in a Marine corps truck? lol... wow I can't wait to hear this story...

yeah long story I "grazed" a stop sign with a 53' trailer, my partner crunched the Marine's front fender in a parking lot (lol) but he was way cool. My room is just EXPLODING, my gro bro just gave me a report and he is worried everthing is growing into the ceiling, (that Cal-Mag solved a LOT of problems I guess).....will have pics once I return. Popped the C99, Grape Skunk and Purple Grape Skunk with some UK Cheese and we are just getting out outdoor ready to veg while we get our soil together and 25 or 30 Gal smartpots ready for my deck.

Your shit looks totally tight with that fogger man. I tried to PM you but I guess my post count is not high enough and it's difficult to find wireless interenet while traveling all over the US (but a guy at one of our stops just showed me how to tether with my Droid so I probably can post more)

Grow on bro and thanks for updating me earlier today!
