+1 what HS said. Excel is a hell of a program. My other hobby is a PC geek. So having a little knowledge of excel and understanding some basic formulas allows that mediocre info sheet you saw.

My first week in bloom I didn't know how much ml per gallon of base nutes to add. I started off with 60 mL of A and 60 mL of B to a empty RO rez. Found that 60 mL of both base nutes got me 200 ppm in my rez. Knowing that I would stop at 550 and use additives to get to 700.

As far as finding base nutes % vs additives %

take your base nute total 550 / by total ppm 700 = 78.5%

Your difference would be your additives.

I made a formula in excel so I can set my total PPM to an amount I want. For the PK no more than 800 ppm. Then play around with the additive amount making sure I don't go over more than 25% additives.

Pics to come tonight once light turns on. Got a new Canon PowerShot SD780 is camera. We will see how pictures look vs shitty cell phone shots.

Oooh new camera! I can't wait, thanks for the info on your chart.

I'm no pc geek at all,but man am I pro at finding porn.

Stu, let me know how you like that camera after you've used it for a bit.. My dad is looking to buy a new P&S camera for my sister, and that SD780 is one of my top choices for the price/size/quality. I'm looking forward to some sample pictures of the ladies!

Day 10 Bloom

Day 10 Bloom

PPM 550 after adding nutes 700
PH 5.9
Water Temp 67
Air temp 69 low 86 high
RH 45% - 64%%
Co2 1000

Added 60 mL Heavy16 A & B these girls are sucking the PPMs down quick every day. Looks like they are enjoying the current conditions and I haven't been to bad to them. The rate and level of growth is shocking to me compared to veg.

Also debating whether or not to throw down the screen. I think I would get increased yield because I will be able to move everything apart. But will sacrifice being able to remove the remaining water below the water like of the PVC pipe.

Well here are some shots with the Canon SD780 which I really enjoyed using. 12 mega pixel camera with 1080p recording and is the size of a credit card about 5/8" thick. Amazing. It is a good bang for your buck. Make sure if you plan to use the 1080p you get a fast class 6 SD memory card so it allows you too.

picture quality is not as good as it should be. I had to resize to 1024 from 4000. As well as knock down the image quality down to 3 out of 10 in photo shop to get them below 146k. So bare with me. Thinking of next time of making the image smaller but better quality.

You know that you don't have to do all that photo shop business. I just upload the 4meg pictures and let ICmag make them the right size.

Should start seeing the white hairs explode out of them anytime now.

question

question

The ladies are looking great pulling down the PPMs daily by at least 50 (Co2 @ 1200 atm). They are starting to show a lot of hairs. I am thinking of dropping the screen on them to help spread them out and even things up.

My question is should should I cut any LARGE fan leaves that are currently covering other smaller/lower flower sites?

In the words of Ringo Starr "peace and love. peace and love."

getting rid of more fans will help get light down to other parts of the ladies and force other leaves to grow (including the flowers), so I'd say pull some of them, but not as drastic as you did pre flip.

12 - 24 hrs. Normally before lights off and then try to get nutes in during light cycle so could be 12.5 or 23.5.

Lights were on for an hour and changed the rez. I think I will run them over night till the next lights on. Then load up the rez with n utes. Thanks HS!!!!!!

Oh also removed a lot of LARGE fan leaves maybe a little to much. But I have confidence that the bounce back. Pics tm after I get nutes going.

Week 3 update

Week 3 update

Started week 3 (monday with a flush). Tuesday before lights were on mixed a new rez up. I dropped the % of additives down lower from week 2. I started to see slight leave burn around the outside. Very slightly though.

PPM 700
PH 5.7
Water Temp 67
Air temp 65 low 85 high
RH 45% - 65%
Co2 1600

Here's some shots @ day 18 ! I pick a lot of large fan leaves out last week. Let me know if I over did it.

chose to throw down the screen to try and spread the canopy out to get a yield increase.

internode spacing shot for ya GT.

Bump the water temp to 70. They look too scrunchy on the fans for my taste.

:joint:

Chiller works like this. Set point was 67. Would swing to 70 kick on and drop down to 66. Set point is now 68. swings to 71 drops down to 67. What ya think ? should I go one higher to 69? I'm just worried about bacteria growth. I am not running zone and I am running Roots at half strength.

Looks A+ Stu!!

Thank you sir all is well counting down the days. Can't wait to get my 2k flower room going!!!!
