+1 what HS said. Excel is a hell of a program. My other hobby is a PC geek. So having a little knowledge of excel and understanding some basic formulas allows that mediocre info sheet you saw.
My first week in bloom I didn't know how much ml per gallon of base nutes to add. I started off with 60 mL of A and 60 mL of B to a empty RO rez. Found that 60 mL of both base nutes got me 200 ppm in my rez. Knowing that I would stop at 550 and use additives to get to 700.
As far as finding base nutes % vs additives %
take your base nute total 550 / by total ppm 700 = 78.5%
Your difference would be your additives.
I made a formula in excel so I can set my total PPM to an amount I want. For the PK no more than 800 ppm. Then play around with the additive amount making sure I don't go over more than 25% additives.
Pics to come tonight once light turns on. Got a new Canon PowerShot SD780 is camera. We will see how pictures look vs shitty cell phone shots.
