The OBAMA Admin. hasn't done much good IMHO... Remember that gangster shit they did to clubs all throughout cali the day's after he swore in or so?????

Gangster ass shit is what I call it... He swore up and down he would stop the raiding and bullshit and what did he do??? (what did he let the fed's do?, Or What did he have to say about it???? NOTHING!

And all the OBAMA nut huggers chose to ignore all that shit and everything else he has done and shoved down our throats....

AND I VOTED for that failure! he just picked up the baton from Bush and kept it running, the only thing that "CHANGED" was the way the fucking mainstream media reports what is going on in the world and in our country.... It's all a big fucking acted show IMHO/////

again these are just MY opinions, and I am not gonna fuck around and argue with anyone, I will comfortably debate.... That's it!

Your a fucking moron if you think we had more raids with Obama then bush. There's no debating that. And if we had "mavericks" in the white house I would gave left the country. Fuck those insane pricks and their Joe schmoe mimicking holier then thou assholes. Obama could do more for us, but he sure is a fuck of alot better than McCain and that dumb white bitch

CALIF BEER & BEVERAGE DISTRIBUTORS STATE ISSUES:
$10,000.00 INITIAL 9/7/2010 9/7/2010

Check out Mike Meno's take on the issue on the MPP site:

http://blog.mpp.org/tax-and-regulat...um=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+blogmpp+(MPP+Blog)

Statement by MPP:
“Unless the beer distributors in California have suddenly developed a philosophical opposition to the use of intoxicating substances, the motivation behind this contribution is clear,” Fox said. “Plain and simple, the alcohol industry is trying to kill the competition. They know that marijuana is less addictive, less toxic and less likely to be associated with violent behavior than alcohol. So they don’t want adults to have the option of using marijuana legally instead of alcohol. Their mission is to drive people to drink.”

Yes on 19

I'm voting Yes. If you're going to wait for anything better than this, you'll be waiting a long long time. The time is now to vote this in. For most of us, one oz. is a lot off weed to carry around legally. You can keep all you can grow in your garden, just don't take more than an oz with you when you go somewhere. That's simple enough. From here, things will evolve. It's a starting point.

Yes on 19.

Right on
The time is now

I have to say I would vote "yes" if this gets mutes the people still trying to shut down LA collectives.

However, I have heard this legislation is a trojan horse. I'll go read more of this thread to see if I can learn something.

Anyone know of any polls that show what the vote would likely be if it were held today?

EDIT: Here's a recent poll. Maybe this can happen after all.

wrong.

juan mccanado and gov. clownshoes would have done ZERO on real world difference than alfred e. newman and mr. chocolate shoes...

they are all owned by the same corporations..

#1 contributor to BOTH campaigns? anyone?????

j.p. morgan chase.

#2? BOTH campaigns?

citibank...

sure mccain was a "rouge" like a lemming at the bottom of the pile...

remember obama laughed at the question...

Leagalization means (to me), just more government involvement(fuck that), more lobbying, more bearocrasy, and why give them more money that they can fuck up anyways, the state doesn't ever do anything good with our money anyways, and we are always in debt....???? What kinda sense that make??? They are all just seeing the money in it, and not what's good for the people..

and when I say decriminalization I mean COMPLETE DECRIMINALIZATION, like growing and consuming tomatoes, just leave us the fuck alone, no tickets(citations) , no drama, no government involvement, just we get to chose what we do with it, and then all of you that think we are out for profit will know that there isn't much profit in it, it's just fucking farming, simple as that!

That would be too much freedom wouldn't it?? This is the real insight the cannabis plant pushes the mind for.."true freedom" and that's something far too many are still not ready for. Many aren't ready for others to have freedom either because this sort of freedom questions the core of set belief systems that are uphold with every action in the majority of the populations daily lives.

Is this a first step? Is Prop 19 here to replace Medical Marijuana? the line seems blurred...if Norml is saying we wait until 2012 for the Jack Herrer Initiative..why are we so anxious? who is paying for this huge push for this prop?

keep it going..keep the vibes positive..smoke a bowl and respect each other

Norml has had 40 years to accomplish their goal. and they have failed miserably. so some better questions are...

1) why can't norml do anything?
2) what is this magical bill I hear of in 2012?
3) if Richard lee loses 2mil trying to legalize, who's fronting cost of 2012 bill?
4) does anyone really expect a less restrictive bill if another millionare foots the bill?
5) why not pass 19 and lobby local reps to implement less restrictions?

:bigeye:

I just imagined five guys counting a lot of donations and smoking copious amounts of cannabis.

norml hasn't done shit for us. fuck their donation drives, their charity dinners, all that bullshit. as far as I'm concerned norml is nothing but a few lazy fucking stoners who have decided as long as they don't reach legalization dumbass potheads will keep paying their way to free ride.

i want to get a shirt made that says FUCK right above their logo.

Dude I highly doubt everyone out here that is not for prop 19 is for profit!!!! We really want decriminalization and the pwoer in the people's hands.. that all...

I guarantee that people aren't making millions for what they grow for sales, it's a fucking job just like everything else to many....

WOW.. People must think we're all hella rich out here in cali because of "growing", naw no way man..... It's not all it's cracked out to be!!!!

"Got any proof of Richard being backed by GW Pharma or is it just a conspiracy theory being spread by greedy assed growers who would shoot everyone in the foot for short term profits?"

Can I get an answer for this?

Good to see the California Narcotics Officers Association chipping in over 20K. Wonder how much of that is their legacy fund extorted from drug dealers... Poor bastards I trying to stay in work:)
