Doesn't sound like you have had the real Green Crack then my friend.. The real cut, is a fat yielder, dank as all hell, and finished in 50 days.. it's not the strongest herb out there but it def is no slouch.

With an environment similar to what was described above by SOTF420, there are a lot of indica dominant strains that'll be done in 7 weeks or less.

The fact that you're interested in a really short flowering period and high yield suggests you're a-goin' commercial. With that in mind, Green Crack and Cindy '99 are probably your best bets - lovely smell, big yield, great bag appeal, etc. They'll never touch an elite, 9 to 11 week sativa-dominant hybrid's potency, but they'll sell equally well.

Money grubbing dispensaries often have them up on the $50-60 top shelf, and I've often seen less knowledgeable stoners going bonkers about the smell/look at the counter next to me (particularly about Green Crack, as it has proliferated far and wide in the med community). For someone with a high tolerance, they won't be very medicinally useful, but are pleasant smokes nevertheless.

I had a 7 week pheno of C-99 I found out of 20 seeds that would blow your socks off.

Green Crack at 50 days is the real deal.



Problem with both strains is tolerance build up after a couple weeks for heavy smokers.

To each their own my friend... I suppose I must be getting old... I often think I know it all, when in fact I know very little. But, getting old and all... I haven't seen anything you're talking about in all that time.

I might believe the northern lights or a true afghani (never seen one though).

Taking our time, doing what the plants tell us they want, and not compromising quality due to schedule, I think is much more important then the exact amount of time something takes.

and just for the record , i do have a Apollo11 mother, her clones are done at day 50-55, anything longer then that and it starts to get over ripe and loses potency. but once again yield is just average on her nothing special.

I do know a guy that has been working with some Morrocan Hash Plants x Skunk#1 indica dominant pheno, that has been getting 40 Day finishers. I will try to see if I can get some pics of his shit.

a cut of bubblegum I grew once was about that fast too, but not a great yielder.

mandala seeds has some good short flowering strains speed queen for one is a great one sadhu another and satori the last two i just know fro what i've been told and seeen the first i know from experience and to boot they're only 34 bucks for a 10 pack of these strains how can you beat that
for instance the speed queen won the cannabis cup here locally for las vegas last year

I don't think Mandala has anything that finishes in under 50 days though. Satori certainly doesn't, all I've flowered so far (3 plants) took over 70 days.

Yup! My outside Speed Queen went till Oct. 17 at 40N. Really liked the plant, but I'm clueless as to why its named "Speed Queen".

Flowering times are very subjective. Simply growing the same plant at different latitudes can bring about differing ripening times.
Also, what the breeder tells you must be taken with a grain of salt, and most of what they say is just a guide and not set in stone at all.
As an example, Shantibaba states the flowering time for his Sk1(Shit) is 49 days, but if you read close you will find he is talking about 49 days after the first flowers appear. Is this when we first see the plant sexing at each node, or when we can noticeably be able to see the pistols forming at each site? I can tell you from experience that Shit is not ready until about 8-10 wks from 12.12 lighting. The majority of hybrid cultigens we have access to will go 8-10 weeks, and the sativa heavy plants will all go 10-14 weeks. If you just count on that being the case you won't go wrong.
If a description tells you 8-10 weeks, it means that there is enough phenotype diversity to see times in this range. Count on 10 wks or more and never 8.
Some will only list something like a flat 56 days, and in those instances the cultigen is probably stable and doesn't have broad phenotype diversity, and most all will ripen during a similar time.

Also consider that ripe means that the very first trichome has started to degrade. This situation is full ripe. A plant that shows trics that are changing color (amber is the common term) has degraded and is past ripe.
Many may consider when they can see a whole bunch of discolored trichomes that the plant is ripe and ready to pick, but in reality it is past ripe. Considering a heavy amber trichome plant as ripe, is outside of what a breeder would consider ripe and your finish times will be longer than stated in most instances.

Nothing is set in stone in the world of cannabis growing. Nature won't allow it.

"Flowering times are very subjective" totally ...dry finish weights are as well some people leave more fluff and lumber trimming than true conosuer jar hoarders..... have to say BOG Bogglegum I have a 40- 42 day finish pheno that holds its own next to (65-75 day finishers)rez chem ix iii and SD ibl in my museum jar..also recomend 12 dollar led mini microscope dont get scammed buying the 420 labeled versions that cost 2=3 times more

Cinderella 99 is a popular strain. Some people take her down anywhere from 48-60days.

Most agree it's overdone at 55days.

"Shit" was a straight up 6 maybe 6.5 weeker when I grew in out a few years back, but it all depends on your environment and plant health. This was not just one plant that was quick either this was most of them and I got a high female ratio too I think there were 15 seeds in the pack. This is when they came in the yellow envelopes not the new packaging with the vial. Monster yielder but the high was too mentally racy for my taste it gave me anxiety. For the big cola size it was an extremely fast flowering period. A few people have said that the newer shit beans are not the same as the older ones maybe it has something to do with the more receent parental selections.

I won't argue, but I have never seen a skunk finish in 6-6.5 wks. It's far too sativa dominant for an early finish like that. The Shit that I have grown came in foil packs, no vials.
I have heard people say this, but I have never seen ANY strain that actually finishes that fast.
