weed..

..so these trichomes is supposed to have a "amber" tint...will that come out as orangish or brownish..could anyone give me a quick ratio rundown? browning is simply a sign of degradation, right?
Yeah, amber/red/brown .. you'll know when you see it trust me. When your trics change from clear to mostly cloudy/milky is when THC is at its peak and this is a good time to harvest for most growers. Amber trics are degrading THC which turns into narcotic/couchlock properties. The more amber you have the more narcotic and couchlocky your high will be. I harvest when I have 20-35% amber trics for Hybrids. For Indicas I let em go 50/50. For Sativas I harvest at mostly cloudy/milky.

Crucial, Acro, thanks man. I'll be sure to throw some k+ your way when I'm allowed to again. I knew a guy who had that 60x-100x one, he got it online as well and I couldn't remember what to search for.

Thanks for the trichome break down. Makes perfect sense, helped a lot. Peace.

Daaamb Scrub..that's what I'll be lookin' for...

...it's gonna be the end of this week guys, no later...

I'm starting to think she's a Kush, like an OG Kush or somethin'...she's heavy smelling, stinky, but it's a fruit-dominant kind of stink, which is why I think the OG...had a few different Kushes awhile back, wonderin' if I had any seeds from them.....her buds are fat, dense, super crystally...she almost smells the same type of fruity as this "Fruit Loops" we been smokin' on....peace...not far now...

Looks like they will be some fire nuggets. Now, is the hardest time to be patient, waiting for them to cure...

Sup, Endur. True, true. I keep thinking "they MUST" be done now...it's amazing how towards the end of the flowering period these things pack on so much weight...I swear the buds have got 25% bigger the last couple of days...won't be a shabby run...

i find it to be quite a motivator to work out how many grams a day of weight are getting put on at the end of flower
of course that's just a head game, but it has kept me from losing control and cutting too early

What happens if all the fan leaves fall off before she's done? They're pretty much all gone.

mine's doing pretty much the same thing, some strains seem to ripen this way
as long as your buds/colas look good, all is probably well

that's tougher, you really need to see the little trics to be sure
in a pinch, you can cut a bit off, light up a sample
not a perfect method, the small side buds may not be that close to the main buds

So 50% of the hairs on the plant are orange, the rest are white...I'm super worried because pretty much all the fan leaves is used up, and I see some indications that the little bud leaves are gonna start getting used up before too long...i dont want this thing to go too long...i know the issue is usually the reverse, but since the leaves are all shriveling, i dont want the buds to start shriveling and degrading...im afraid my microscope wont be here in time...

this may not be all that useful, but i'll leave it to you to decide
if your eyesight is good, a scope is nice but absolutely needed
get a white sheet of paper as background, put behind bud for contrast and look 'through' the edges of the bud
you may not be able to see the individual trics, but may get a sense of the color
i did this with my 1st grow, just to see if i could, you can see tric color without a scope
though it's more of a 'many trics' color, some buds should look different than others, some should be more mature, some less so
if you have no other way, it's worth a shot
