the little towns around Stuttgart, Germany are really nice/old/quaint/quiet...

and of course, theres always "SannDeAgo, Spanish for 'A Whale's Vagina'", i used to love it there when i was a kid.

As for quality of life/nicest place i've lived, probably the 'burbs of DC, Fairfax county area...but fuck paying $2000/month for a 2 bedroom OR $160-280,000 for a townhouse

You know I love Kona Hawaii, if I had to pick just one. I just love it there.

You can't just pick one though, as true bliss is to go someplace cool when it is hot and go some place hot when it is cool.

Randude...I was wondering when you contribute. Do you ever get any work done:wink: (I'm just jealous you get a great pay check and ICMAG time :))

Thats my thoughts too...Ideally I would summer in Annapolis, MD and Winter on a NICE Island!! Waterfront homes in both places, someday, hopefully while I'm still young enough too really enjoy it...

Yah, Arlington, VA is great...but it make Annapolis look cheap (I was paying $1250 a month for a crazy nice condo in "Naptown", and that was a steal)

I'm going to go with:

Granada, Spain
KL, Malaysia
Cahuita, Costa Rica
Gili Isles, Indonesia (Lombok)
Newcastle, UK
Antigua, Guatemala
Dunedin, New Zealand
Hue, Vietnam

But there are so many great places. Travel this world while you still can.

Growing up in Baltimore for more than half my life I would describe Annapolis as you did but I still wouldn't want to live there city claimed two of my cousins lives and half the people in my Dad's family have drug problems. Anyway the one city that I've visited that I really liked was Denver, Colorado was there for about a week and I could get used to looking out my window and being able to see the mountains from where your staying.

Huh...I didn't know you were from B-more originally...I lived there (just outside Towson) for a few weeks...I hated it. I'm not much of a city guy...

Sorry to hear about your cousins and family drug problems...you really can't blame the city though...

Although, that area (mainly B-more) is basically the opiate capital of the US, I'm sure didn't help matters...

GREAT pics Rand and Buddy!!

Rand...what is you book about?? Damn...you never cease to amaze me!!

No I don't blame the city, life is full of choices you make em other people don't. I still have family there but I just can't stand the look of the inner-city glad I'm free of that place its very depressing. What I hate is the fucking junkies caught up in a internal prison which is the reason one of my cousins is dead (nothing worse than a junkie with a gun).

Kaanapali, HI!
Lahaina, Maui!
I really dig Cali too, from Eureka to San Diego and everything in between! I like Norcal slightly more than Socal!
Really like Evergreen, CO too, which is probably where I will end up!
