what up killa - ya man, once i put my list on paper, i was like ... shit i need more room haha. i'm def excited about the double bubble and the satori the most, and def the WW classic should be good as well. i may even attempt the aeroponic route (eeK!) but we shall keep that on the DL for now.

khaleel - hell ya, that is satori is some great shit from what i've seen, i cant wait. still in seed form, sooo it's going to be a while.

UPDATE TIME:

We are at 33 days flower for R1, 12 days flower for R2.
Veg room is packed, just put in 3 more "GB" clones, the rest in there have mostly been topped and are getting beautiful. There are about 5 of the "DP" in there that look great, I am very excited about them.

One thing is that I am having a tough time controlling the initial stretch in flower. I have been doing a lot of pinching which helps a little, and I have been getting them as close to the lights as possible, but I am still losing control of them. I gotta figure that shit out somehow. I am thinking that since I have steps going up from left to right and the light is perpindicular to those steps, then only the plants in the middle of each step are getting the best light. Confusing explanation, but maybe once most are chopped I will move things around.

I also think I am having some heat stress on the "DP", apparently it is more sensitive than some of the others and it has gotten a little close to the lights. There are some pictures comin up you will see.

Anyways, things are startin to get pretty, so enjoy the show ...

so these are the spots on the "DP" ... kind of seem like they are over sensitive to being too hot. Not really sure yet. I moved them away from the light and they seem ok thus far

Just some pics of the flower room when it is full. The different strains make it look all unorganized, but it is just that way to utilize the light the best. I took 3 pics with different light settings so that is the difference.

lookin good bro,is this the 1st time you grew the ones that are goin outta control on the stretch?if so maybe next run just train them into lil bushes and then flip them smaller and they wont stretch so bad for ya...you can always get a better feel for the plant on the 2nd grow i think bro thats why i run everything atleast 2 times before i decide to axe it or not.
the spots do look like its from the light being too close...you shouldnt be pinchin them this far into flower bro ur addin time to ur finish cause they are gettin stressed a lil bit everytime you pinch them.all the pinnchin should be done in veg homie...you could like put a stake in the soil and bow the limb out and wire tie it to the stake bowed like a bow and arrow,do it like a hour after you water so the branches are more flexy,and be carful not to snap.it will take a couple inches off hieght atleast...not tryin to tell you how to do ur thing at all bro just a lil advice and a tip i got from these same boards.

hey tona thanks for all the great advice! i agree, the first run is always a toss up as to what is going to happen, already on the second run things are doing a lot better with the stretch. i've kept them a lot closer to the light and thus far they look good. Actually the PS girls in R2 are staying MUCH more compact and will hopefully get no where close to the height of the girls in R1.

Glad you agree with the lamp burn. It's tough in the confined space with limited watts, kind of wish I had used a 400W but I know the heat woulda killed me. Just tryin to get them as much late as possible ... apparently too close!

thanks for the heads up on the pinching ... i was only pinching the first 7 days in flower, but i will discontinue that approach for sure. i forgot about the stress it was causin them. All the ones from R1 (flower day 34) are def done with their stretch and I haven't pinched them in a long time, and I will make sure not to pinch anymore from R2 (day 12 flower). The ones I have in veg now are really short and bushy, so hopefully Good info for sure, thanks for the heads up ...

Interesting you mention the stakes ... i was just about to head out and grab those tonight. That tying method seems like I good idea to keep things short.

I agree though, it is definitely going to take 2 or 3 runs down to start to understand how each strain likes things.

what up everyone. just chillin, vapin, thought i'd throw up some pics.

i staked pretty much all of R1 today and a few of R2. Everyone is looking great, getting fat, getting sticky. When I was staking the real DP it smelled so fucking glorious, I can't wait to try that one out.

We are at 36 days flower R1, 15 days flower R2 now, the real GB will come down late next week and the real DP and PS a few weeks after that, depending on production and such. I feel like the real DP will be done at like 8 ish and the PS done at more like 10 ish. Next week I will also be adding as many of R3 as I can fit. The veg room is way too full and gettin big too. Most have been topped, some LSTd.

thanks dubwise!! I love the smoke of this afghani ... I have one clone that has been vegging for a while that I will probably make back into a mom at some point. She doesn't clone so well though, which is a pain in the ass ...

This afghani is in a 1.2 gallon container, that's it. It is DEFINITELY root-bound, it vegged a long time, had a stint as a mom and is now flowering out to hopefully give me some big weight i have to say i've really grown to love this smoke at night especially.

ya man, i can't wait for run 1 (R1) to finish off too. They are definitely gettin thick. I am officially out of smoke, although last night I grabbed a popcorn nug from the real GB plant and vaped it. SHIT, i was fucked up haha. That strain is definitely ready, I am just going to flush this next watering (tonight) and probably pull them down on Tuesday. It has the most amazing BRIGHT red hairs. Should be plenty of herb until the next couple of strains come down, at which point I will be flooded.

thanks tona, i appreciate you stopping by. got pretty much all of them staked up now and that's helping. I think I have controlled the stretch a lot better this run. R3 (mostly going in on Wed) are gunna be big mutha f-ers, they've been vegging for 3 weeks or so.

little update:

R1 = 39 Days
R2 = 18 Days
R3 = 1 Day

got in there tonight and flushed the GB that are coming down probably on Tuesday.

Also, decided there was enough room and so I put in the extra shelf and 8 more clones. These clones are pretty big. Most have been topped and they are all at about the 12" level, which is probably good for the moment. 3rd run (R3) = 5 GB, 2 PS, and 1 DP.

The room is probably maxed out now. Taking the 3 GB out in a couple of days will help. Then 1.5 - 2 weeks later the AG mom will come down and possibly some of the DP.

Anyways, here are some pics, thanks to everyone checkin things out and stoppin by.

tonight was a lot of work:

put 8 clones from bubble cloner to veg room (1GB, 2PS, 5DP)
cleaned bubble cloner
put in 18 new clones, 11 GB, 7 DP (the real ones now)
and then ...


first little harvest of the perpetual tonight. The GB were lookin pretty ripe and ready so it was time.

I pulled down 3. One was normal height/size, and the other two seemed like the were trifoils, and both got stunted pretty good for some reason, so i expected a lot less yield from them.

Anyways, the wet weight was 73.2g, so it should come out to 18g or so. Not a bad start for 3 plants I've never run ... Next few weeks should be fun though, a lot more comin down

i'm vapin some shit now and it is niceeee.

i just use the bubble cloner to root my clones, but i am actually in hempy buckets, which i veg for 2-3 weeks before flower. actually these first ones went straight from clone to flower, so i am sure the roots lacked considerably. good point.

i ran soil my first grow.

like i said, first time running all these strains, this nute line and HPS, so there were quite a few variables that can be improved upon.
