what up everyone

nice little saturday, tryin to recover from last night because naturally, I am a fool. We don't need to get into that ...

Things are looking great, I didn't get a chance to look in on the flower girls for 2 nights and when I looked in last night ... WOW! All the GB are now getting really hairy, really fast. I was worried at first, because they weren't showing much and they are supposed to be super fast (5-6 weeks they CLAIM), but now I can see how they are super fast. So far ... growing wise, a wonderful strain. It'd be tough to kill it even if I tried lol. Let's just hope the smoke comes out nice too.

I also started supercropping I guess? Basically, when growth is getting close to the light or above the even canopy, i just sort of "snap" it and bend it over. Within a day or so it is shooting back towards the light and helps keep the canopy even. A very nice trick I am happy I tried it. I actually did it by accident while LSTing and so I learned that way.

I potted 4 more rooted clones and there are a bunch more rooted and waiting but I am literally out of room. I can probably fit like 3 or 4 more clones in the veg room, but then I am donezo. This week I wanted to put more GB clones in the flower room, but the room in there is ... well ... pretty limited also. I will figure it out though. Also the Mom's will get another haircut, taking clones only from the GB I think. I am strongly debating chopping the PS mom for space reasons. I have a bunch of her clones, so I was thinking I would just let one sort of "veg out" in the little gato-hempy until it becomes rootbound or maybe make it into a bonsai? Then I can repot into a bigger bucket if I want to keep her (once the current ones come down and the smoke is good).

Oh and in the flower room, of the 2 unknown PS plants, it is quite possible they are both girls. I am pretty sure I counted that one was, but I dont actually remember at the moment. Got my new toy that you will see in a second ... that has been fogging my life haha.

made more space today, chopped the PS mom which was most of it. The DP and GB got a couple clones taken from them, but they are in bad need of a buzz cut. good news is the PS mom was not root bound, so that is good for all the rest.

3.18 - Flower day 21

Hello everyone.

First off, I am very very stoned, so please keep that in mind.

The past few days have been pretty exciting. The flowers are getting HUGE, the stretch seems to have stopped for the most part on the GB, AG, DP but not really the PS. They are all reachin for the light which is great. It's very exciting to see everything with big plump nugs getting bigger and bigger everyday.

I also built some new "steps" and platforms in the flower room and added 8 more healthy clones that have been vegging for 11 days for their first night under the HPS! They are up pretty high now so hopefully that will control the stretching a little better than the last run. I'll snap some pics of the step system at some point. Basically it allows me to leave the light a fixed height and raise and lower the plant platforms. So far, so good.

I also chopped the PS Mom ... she was taking up way too much space. Now there is plenty of room to hold complete cycles of clones, plus a few extras, which is great!


I tried to take some pictures, but basically I am having a tough time with the HPS, among other lighting. Anyways, I'm going to post the 3.15 photos first and then i'll start another one for the 3.18 photos. hopefully you can see some difference! Oh, and can anyone suggest some things for photos during HPS? Occasionally I try to go in like 2 min before lights on and take pics, but that is obviously not always easy. SO ya, ideas would be great, thanks.

Your Gigabud look's to have allot more indica type traits than any of mine. I currently have 3 that look very similar and healthy, 1 that is very skinny in the stem and wont seem to green up and 1 that I took cuts from and seems to be yellowing a bit as if nighttime temp are to low. Have you flowered Gigabud yet? It doesn't seem like they get allot of air time in your thread. anyways things look great I hope you achieve all you wish for with the grow. Karma, One Love

Ya, to me the GB looks pretty much half and half, but def learning towards indica. I have a clone that the stem has turned really purple and parts of the Mom have done the same, but all seems good yet.

The AG is very indica (dark and fat) and the PS is really sativa. The DP is strangely indica looking, not sure what is going on with that. It is from Dutch Passion, and is supposed to be 100% sativa, and I know they are legit so I am not sure what the deal is ... maybe because it's an African strain it's a little different? Not really sure

I am actually in the middle of flowering her (GB) for the first time. The site says "5-6 week flowering time" which seems ridiculously low, but we shall see. The ones I have in flower right now stretched a lot because they were much too far from the light, but run #2 of the perpetual is much closer to the light so hopefully they will be more compact. I know I haven't had much action of her, but next time I go in there I will make sure to do a showcase on her The DP is a beauty too.

I had my girl takes some pics while I was watering today, but I haven't seem them yet. I'll take a look and perhaps post some.

Otherwise, I'll post more flower pics in a few days.

i actually have heard nothing about it and def can not find someone who has grown it out. G13 labs are pretty new so hopefully they have come up with some good shit ... it was a freebie but so far it is my favorite growth wise

3.22 Update

3.22 Update

Just a quick update. Things are going well, we are at 25 days flower for the first batch, 5 days for the second batch. From now on, it will be R1 (run 1), and R2 (run 2), etc etc. Just an easier way for me to remember what is what.

So, interestingly, I am starting to think I somehow fucked up the seedlings when I originally started. Basically, from what I can find and how things are looking .... I switched the Gigabud and the Durban Poison. SO what I thought was the Gigabud, is the Durban and visa versa. I am not 100% sure on this yet, but it definitely explains the current GB looking sativa and the current DP looking straight indica. Basically the first one to finish will be more obviously the GB.

Not sure how I am going to rename things, this is just kind of a pain in the ass. But hey, could be much worse! Just looks like my "quick" runs of GB may not be so quick haha. Oh well.

Everything is almost full. I have some more room in the veg room (probably like 6-8 more clones) and the same amount of space in the flower room, when everything is placed efficiently. Those spots will be filled in the next couple of weeks and we will be maxed out. Should be interesting. I started topping a bunch of the veg clones to keep them short and hopefully improve yield. These ones will have about 3 weeks veg before going in, and I can tell you already, the ones with 11 days veg are already much better off than clone straight to 12/12. Alas, I understand perpetual takes time to dial in, so it doesn't bother me that it will take a few runs.

I'm into the last 2-3 weeks of a soil grown Gigabud. Mine is mostly 90%+ stativa. Loose buds and foxtails. Interesting plant, but not a keeper when compared the others

A few weeks ago

Last weekend - stills some weight to fill in and it just started to yellow.

shit seneca, now you got me all mixed up. my GB looks A LOT like yours. I don't know how it can be so sativa looking and my DP look so indica looking. I am supremely confused. The only thing I am going off is the 2-3 week difference in flower finish, so if the triches get amber in 2 weeks, I'll know its the GB.
