This is the last warning. The title of this thread is Obama did change the MMJ laws.
Actually.......he changed "Policy"

He DIDN'T CHANGE any laws.

He will simple "Overlook" current laws.(which is typical.......they don't pay taxes either)

Big Difference.

What's with all the warnings? Are ya gonna shut down every thread or kick out every member that gets off topic...........Or just the ones that might say something negative about the current......Scaministration?

Nobody said anything out of line here. (except maybe that Pirate character):noway:...... He's a Baaaaaad Boy !!!

When they start getting politically way off topic it's time to shut them down....

I would like to thank those californians out there who stood up against oppression and changed things, many of whom frequent these forums I'm sure. They kept going even though the feds rush in and shut them down over and over. The atmosphere was definitely conducive for change, but it still required some balls to keep stepping up and telling the feds to go fuck themselves.

Thank You, Growers, Caregivers, Dispensaries, Obama

Watch your back though growers, now that the DEA can't stop at the old ATM (dispensary) and withdraw their ill-gotten funds, they are gonna come after you.

Hopefully this new policy stay around for awhile....it would be nice for the feds to leave states to handle their own business. maybe if we are lucky enough the states that havent passed any medical laws yet will!.....and then the feds can worry about exploding meth labs for a change....lol

Never seen so many people excited about some vague words with nothing to back them up. I mean sure, it's a step forward I guess but are we really happy with little crumbs? I'll wait until I see an official policy statement, press release, legislation, ANYTHING that actually puts those words into action. You guys should know by now that a politician's word is worthless. It's the actions that count.

couldn't have said it better myself, itsgrowtime. he may have changed the policy through his words, but i'll hold my breath until I see some physical results.

I hear ya bro, it is frustrating--
But just the fact that they are saying the words now...gives hope for action in the future-- It can't go from "No" to "Yes", without the "Maybe" period...well, maybe they could, but to save Face...they won't--
I see this as an indication that they may be within a few years of serious action-- (Crosses fingers!!)

Raided Already. Two days after Obama took office!!!!

Raided Already. Two days after Obama took office!!!!

Look this up.

The Jan. 22 raid near the California-Nevada border occurred two days after Obama took office and before the new president's own Justice Department team was in place. The raid resembled many conducted during the Bush administration, but seemingly clashed with Obama's campaign opposition to such tactics.

This was before his team was in place, but we'll see.

EXACTLY. i do not see how policy change affects the LAW. the law is the law period. policies are just personal or group or administration point of views and/or opinions, they are not LAW.

people instead of just having your little personal online one-liner celebrations with your posts. why not actual post something useful.

hey people wake up and first write a letter to show them in your own writing you really care. call your senate reps. call your house of representative reps. and also send e-mails telling them to do what you want. kinda like what lobbiests do but without the money kickback etc...

tell them to stop the raids on states with mmj laws. tell them you will organize and not be afraid to show your face. tell them you will not be afraid of losing your jobs. the number 1 reason i hear why people do not publicly support mmj reform. tell these old fools that they are old and times have CHANGED. you need to overwhelm their voice mails, their mail boxes, their e-mails with your message of MMJ REFORM not just some lame POLICY CHANGE that is not LAW.

tell them you will hold recall votes against them if they do not represent "you the people" the way you would like to be represented. is naney pelosi really representing san fransico in mmj reform? i think not.

so jj are those facts good enough for you or are you going to delete this post also.

hey people read what i have posted and tell me where i am DEAD WRONG cuz jj thinks i am cuz he keeps delting my post please read and make a comment.

I deleted your last post because it was nothing but name calling and had no use to anyone. If you post anything further which is nothing but name calling drivel and that will be deleted to.

Picking an argument and calling me out with lies isn't going to get you anywhere. I deleted one single post, and one only. Don't try to make yourself out to be a victim....

It WILL be legal, sooner than you think. Of course that depends on where you live. Where I live it has been almost legal for years. It was decriminalized here a long time ago and unless you're growing basement full of plants, you are pretty safe and even safer now that the feds are getting out of it. The problem is that it's still a schedule 1 drug. but that can and must be changed.

Now is a great time to start contacting your federal reps. If enough people scream loudly enough and long enough, it will happen. Don't just whine... whine to the right people and they will get sick of it and do something just to get rid of you.

I've been watching that Eric Holder clip over and over on youtube. I am still smiling! There really were a great number of doubters as soon as he took office. I have to admit, I started to lose confidence too, but not now! YES!
