This is fucking awesome. I grow in a one car garage. Obviously there is no car in there and the garage door itself is never opended. As others have said, you need to lock down those garage doors. I actually insulated and walled in the door from the inside. Essentially I bolted some 2x4s onto the door and hung the insulation on that. the 2x4 hold the door solid, so even if the lock got picked, it still could not be opended by a human. I would LOVE to have that kind of space and juice to work with.
Do you have a washtub/drain/water set up in the garage yet? If not, this should be step one for your water source.
I also second the pond liner idea, or if you have the ability to put a drain in now, even better. I don't know your budget but if you could tap the sewer from the garage, so much easier.
finally, definitely air cool them lamps....damn sam good luck with this one I will be watching.

yea i too use the garage...I used those idustrual zip ties to put pressure on the door coming down to the frame..theres no way in hell anyone can open the door..i did 2 on each side to be sure but im guesing i have about 300 lbs of pressure holding the door down..also...if you can crack into the sewer line i have herd of people dumping the acess heat down the drains and also smell..works great for covering it up..... pc

If fucking Country Wide didn't take so long to close Escrow on my house I'd be already goin...

Also prob changing from dirt to hydro- 6 inch rockwool cubes on top of net pots in 5 gal containers.. gonna be a bunch of huge ass trees. pics/info to come.

If you skimp in that area you may get screwed. Please Stealth this grow--I've read news reports of garage growers getting busted because of the smell coming from their grow. Electrical safety---you're going to be using a lot of juice so you need to supply some serious amperage to support all that wattage you're going to be using. You may need an electrician to come in an upgrade your breaker box to a higher amp service rating. I bet your meters are right outside that garage arent they? What's going to happen when Rita the meter maid smells your grow? Stealth it!!
