LifeLess, look at the thread I linked, there's a very clear progression, with pictures, throughout flower.

Edit: blackfoot - With a good base (medium mix and feeding schedule) you should be able to feed most strains w/o any deficiencies. If you can't even give a plant it's most basic needs, how can you be expected to dial them in?

Or you could assume that being all of the same species, there must be a middle ground where all strains can grow without showing any problems.

Maybe that's just my opinion, but I've already grown several completely different strains using a very simple feeding method and haven't seen a single problem. The only issue I've had was letting them go a little too long without watering, and I have lush, green plants that I've never run before. Figure out the basics, and work from there. It's different for everyone, but for me it was the combination of pure coco (the perfect medium, imho) and the simple GH 3 part nutes (and I only use 2 of the 3 parts.)

Well all I can say is the only time my plants have given me problems is when I fucked with DrBuds nute mix and added my own stuff.... Shultz 10-15-10 Superthrive and Fish Emulsion seem to work wonderful!! I just need to figure out the Bloom Plus feeding cuz the directions on the back for a Outdoor Potted Plant is too much for my ladies so I'm curious. Hey DrBud what would your dosing be with Shultz Bloom Plus 10-54-10 ??? should I even bother using this anymore or should I just stick with the 10-15-10 all the way through?? I was just thinking that if I used the Bloom Plus starting in week 3 of flower I might have some better buds what do you think????

Awesome i was wondering the same thing. First off you have an amazing grow. I have 12-42watter that im working with and was planning on trying soil and nutrient mix. I use peat(it says its already ph'd with lime)mushroom compost, and perlite. I conveniently already have Super Thrive, Fish Emulsion, and schultz 10-15-10. You said you use 4 dropper(as in draining the dropper 4 times not 4 drops) then a couple drops of ST and a tbsp of FE, per gallon every feeding? No problems burning? Plus i was wondering about using the bloom 10-54-10 starting week 3, ever tryed(i know more isnt always better). One more thing, is your PH good with this mix? No adjusting? Thanks :jump:

I still have my doubts about the finer points of this method, but I must say he picked a good pheno. Those bottom buds look nice.

Keep an eye on that schultz bloom plus me and a few others used it long ago and even with a great flush the buds wouldnt burn. 2-3 weeks water only. Test it out on 1 plant maybe. Get yerself a bottle of fox farm big bloom shouldnt be much more. Peace LL

It would be nice if you were posting your weekly harvests. So we could see what you harvest on a two months basis on average, and not by multiplying the best plant of a single harvest. Im not interested on such maths, but on seeing what are your actual harvest each week.

Ive been following this thread since the start, 4 months ago, and we havent any clue of what you harvested during this time. Very nice pics of 6 (i believe) plants harvested on 6-16 and nothing else.

I would accept that on other journal, but as you are claiming you get 2.7g/watt im really interested to see it. I avoided any hater comment during this time, expecting you show your weekly harvests so we can check it.

But its 4 months since the journal started and you havent showed but a single weekly harvest and without any weight info (anyway, im not specially interested on weight, but in seeing those weekly harvested plants).

Maybe im a bit paranoic (you know, im a stoner) but im starting to suspect you dont want to show your weekly harvests.

So we have someone here who shows and explains (in VIVID AND EXTREME DETAIL) a method of growing very efficiently. Instead of taking down notes or simply (well, maybe not simple for everyone) conceptualizing the process, you call Bullshit.

The ironic, i mean funny part to me is that all the people who call bullshit are EXPOSING their inability to understand these basic principles(making an ass of themselves) :pointlaug Basic principles that were shown multiple ways from multiple angles with a math work-up included too. And the instructor is available if you don't understand!

i for one think that Dr. Bud explained the method in a very simple and easy to understand format and grateful he took the time to go through effort of taking good pics and explaining everything in detail.

Hopefully FUTURE naysayers will keep their mouth shut for THEIR OWN sake.

I used to allow posts like this:fsu:to get me annoyed because i would think how strange to call bullshit on someone who showed something so cool , but upon further review I just laught :pointlaug

Knna- you were by no means the worst, just the straw that broke the camels back, i had to say something. btw don't expect and back and fouth argument because you can't make one.

Damn, I feel like Julian, "info all in thread....discussed in detail already"

YO! Thanks again Dr Bud,

Hey Dr Bud, here is a question. I finally have my SOG up and running at full density. The plants are packed right in there, and the sea of green is dense and sucking down the available light.

There are a ton of fan leaves that are overlapping and they are cutting off the light to the lower bud sites... In your SOG, do you trim out these fan leaves? Wait until stretch is done them trim? Or just leave them be.

I am doing something very similar with my bonsai moms as Dr. Bud. That said, it is a shame that he is encouraging noobs and small growers to raise their plant numbers, which can result in a harsher legal penalty if caught in most states.

I actually think he warned about either in this thread or his other one

He's not encouraging anybody, he's showing how he does it. Anybody on this site is old enough to make their own decisions and live with the consequences. The information he has given could be used in any type of grow.

Well thanks to the both of you, yea I don't care for too much I did fine my first time around with out the Bloom Plus and since I started using it I had my girls get burnt so I'm staying with the 4 dropper fulls of Shultz 10-15-10 4 drops of Superthrive and a tbs of Fish Emulsion per gallon every time I water :rasta:

DrBud I was also curious what you thought about General Hydroponics Flora Nova Grow and Flora Nova Bloom ??? Are they worth me switching over to them cuz I read they work with soil...

For the rest of you - DrBud has warned us all that having higher plant numbers is a bigger risk, but he also taught us how to grow without being seen in any of the places most growers go to get their supplies and as long as you keep your mouth shut no one should be coming to you door to bother you about those higher plant counts.... :bashhead:

ExEcutioner,
I appreciated knna's questions and think he has a valid point - more info is always helpful and having concrete info on the results that can be achieved would be very useful for people wanting to try this method. knna has demonstrated his knowledge on lighting and growing time and time again and he has always brought a good vibe to the boards. I don't think flaming him is called for.

knna,
I for one hope you continue to participate in this thread FWIW

Thundurkle, I use the Flora nova series and they generally work well for me in soil. One plant I grow needs more calcium so I use sensi cal mg mix as an additive and that took care of the issue for that strain.

PHB - I'll second what you said about knna.

Quality posts are always helpful no matter what the topic, and knna always brings quality.

If it has been covered I missed it but during flowering do you use a mix of 2700k and 6500k for flowering?

I just finished a rubbermaid cfl tub and the temps in the middle of tub is 77 and the top of the tub by the lights is 98.

should my target temp be around 80 at the top of the lights.

I'll either start cutting more intake ports of a bigger cfm fan.

Thanks
