Great thread, yeah BOG's bogglegum and sour bubble are from the White Label Bubblegum.

I have a polyhybrid seed line project going called Sativa Candy Chunk which is:

Sativa Candy Chunk is a mixture of the seed from these 3 lines in the garden in 2009 with pollination by 2 (OG Kush x Jamaican Jam) x DC) x DC males.

(OG Kush x Jamaican Jam) x DC)x DC

(Bubba Kush x Bubblegum) x DC

Sour Bubble Bx3 x Sour Bubble bx 4 x DC

The project was at F 14 this year. In 2017 in the F8 generation, found an amazing plant with high potency. I have continued to select similar phenotypes as the line goes forward. The flavor is pretty similar to bubblegum candy and the shape and structure, morphology looks pretty similar to bubblegum. I'm thinking its a good balance of bubblegum being represented in the progeny. Usually Deep Chunk is highly dominant, which it is, but the terpene profile has been modified to be more fruity refreshing like bubblegum. Growing in Indiana. :smoke:

Still a decent bit of diversity in the line which allows it to not get too bottlenecked and develop inbreeding depression. Some plants are kind of over-ripe fruit flavor with a little different terpenes which I have mostly selected those out of the population, but they aren't bad, so some still make it in the gene pool to maintain the diversity of the line.

The bogglegum I grew way back in 2002-3 had a nice grape smell and taste. If my memory is not deceiving me if was sort of a grape bubblegum.

I never grew bogbubble, but weren’t most of bogs varieties different phenotypes he found in some bubblegum seeds he bought from Europe. Can’t recall the breeder right at the moment.
BOGBubble is straight up bubblegum..

Bogglegum has the grape bubblegum

Oh boy, you mean that's an original IBG cut? I've been searching for more than a decade, grew out most things labelled bubblegum and found none. Searched all the coffeeshops, dispenseries, social clubs...Christiania, BCN, Amsterdam, US... found lots of potent indicas but none of that pink bubblegum smell and taste we had over here in the late 90s and early 2000s. Does it really still exist? Is there still hope?

I do believe it is the original cut - I got her from someone who got her from Pi (RIP).

Did Adam Dunn say that he was given different pheno's by this grower from Indiana in the story? I'll have to find the podcast. I just read that Nevil thought it was a BB x Skunk x NL5 or something like that from his seed stock.
