strychnine is also alkaloids, so practically all alkaloids are poisonous for our body in some measure.

cannabis is not poisonous to our body.

thats why I prefer it over DMT or LSD as for everyday trippy use... it is not so potent like alkaloid based substances... but such extract from 5% pheno of toms haze satisfies my introspection needs, and needs for working with mind pretty well..

I think that if you breed for psychedelic effect, some botany or biology knowledge is completely useless... you need more psychological or even para-psychological knowledge for it...

back to the more specific theme of this thread, which is Mindblower.

points of Mindblower are...

... it doesnt matter how skinny leaf is

... it doesnt matter that it is not classic sandalwood incense dutch haze

... it matters it contains silver thai and chocolate thai phenotypes in modern form of F1 hybrid.

nobody says mindblower can replace thai lines or pure haze lines or something like that. nobody ever could suggested it(like some incompete individuals suggest that northern light haze can replace pure haze LOL), as it is hybrid and the goal of this hybrid is to perform the best it is possible for indoor and northern greenhouse growers, with the effect which is the closest possible to the effect of true thai pheno of original haze...

not all phenos can accomplish this goal.

Also . I didnt not find any reds or purples in either. And I have seeds out of all of my favorites and can try again.

I grew this pheno of surreal indoors, I thought it is strictly green, sour and metallic, raw power

and then when I had room, I grew it in greenhouse. it got fruity tones and color LOL

so this one indoor environment cant show all those nuances you know. I hate to deny you, but I have to say it like it is..

I cant help but mango haze, it is tasty weed for sure, is not doing this for me:

Potent, up, electric, speedy, clear, cerebral, euphoric, psychedelic, energetic, mental, as well as no ceiling, every time you take a hit you get higher and get rushes. Makes folks turn white and get low blood pressure and pass out when they stand up, get paranoid. I like it and do not get too high, that is what I like. Along with the right terpenes, and none of the wrong ones, for taste and effects.
I found purple haze maybe more potent but more physical, I liked the silver-blue and lime-green better.

it is not speedy and it is not electric, it seems to me even calming... I like mango weed, but I prefer black vietnamese over it, much more trippy than mango haze. and is mango haze psychedelic? very very mildly. @Donald Mallard you know it is different to thai... or did you got any pheno of mango haze which would remind you trippy thai?

first and foremost, let me tell you why i started growing weed in the first place.

i am from the east coast.
near a small town called New York City, maybe you've heard of it?

i have made many trips uptown (harlem) to buy weed since i began smoking around 15-16 years old.
i used to take the bus in before i could legally drive, then eventually drove myself. cabs, subway, whatever it took to get to 173rd ( biggest sacks i ever got)
i went for one purpose and one purpose only, to cop the uptown haze.
some may call it "piff" altho that term is thrown around too loosely these days.
but i been burning this shit since the early to mid 90's
best weed on the planet imo
anybody who has ever smoked it will attest to that.

one day i decided to grow my own (as most of us here do) with the sole purpose of finding something similar to the uptown.
i have grown over 100 strains in my quest to no avail.
grown tons from seed and just about every clone only strain i could find.
i found some real killer strains in my day, but none that stacked up.
then one day.............

i got a cut of Mango Haze.
a buddy found this cut from 1 pack of mango haze seeds from shanti.
the rest is history.

this is the CLOSEST thing to the uptown that i have ever grown (or tried from another grower)
she is fire, she is all i need.
if i could only grow one strain, it be this.
it wouldnt even be a close race to be honest.
a few heads have this cut and we all agree, it dont get much better.
if you love a killer sat high, she is for you.

I do not care who reported it, or how many times. They, and you are wrong if any of you think the haze I work with shares any similarities at all with the uptown, or the leathery sandalwoody type Dutch Haze. I am very familiar with them all...

so even it is mango, it is not like mango thai.

I know that @Donald Mallard compared Toms haze to australian mango heads, which is some kind of thai... mango haze is different.

overall, not only cannabis, it is very hard for me to understand what Australians say... they talk about beer and I say what kind of beer do you have there? same with food or anything. I dont understand them in most cases. Donald is little exception in this for me. but overall I dont understand them LOL Australia that is completely different world for me... when I was child I liked Skippy though hahahahhaha

I have a few that hit hard and fast and send tingles through my whole body. And one made me wish I was laying on the floor while I was at work. A few put me in and intense trance that made me forget what I was doing over and over again.

I put my favorites away so I could smoke all the one I am culling and be sure I didnt like them more. I will dip back into my best after more of a cure and see what the are all about.

Ill roll a few of them up before going to see string cheese incident and the wolf bros on Friday. I can see how the feel combined mushroom extract.

Oh man. Enjoy the show . Pine Know is smoke friendly now not like before . So many glass pieces taken .

i am not terribly familiar with colombians , so its hard for me to compare the two ,
however as you and tom have said and i have noted too ,
the haze he has is more reminscent of thai to me also ,
firstly the growth , and the aroma ,
i was growing aussie mango heads when i first got toms haze ,
they were so similar , i couldnt tell them apart in pictures ,
in fact they shared so many triats , one would think they were the same plant ,
while we had some colombian stuff here , mostly seeds i think ,
the bulk of imports to come to australia was thai ,
the weed that was grown here reflected that ....

i think we have a similar taste in weed maha ...

dont try to understand austrralia and aussies too much ,
if you meet a few , you will understand moreso ,
we are far from influences of Europe and most other westerners ,
the land we live in has shaped us a little differently ,
its nice as i think we have a more unique culture as a result ...

if i get my shit together and get a thai cannabis farm together in the not too distant future ,
i will welcome you to visit man , ill make sure the best thai around is available to you to sample,
ill have to get some of toms haze too as id like to find the best of that too and grow it in that climate ..

this mindblower cured to golden color.. golden thai pheno? but with good portion of kush.

I smoked durban, f13 and trainwreck/thai for a while, to get off thaihaze a little.

and then I smoked this golden mindblower... very much thaihaze. that nervosity first hour, such tension from deepness of body.. clearness and weird euphoria, euphoria of race car driver LOL so not calm, euphoria with some kick, and more cold like cold vision in extreme frost, the light is frosted, definitely not warm, all in that crystal clearness, that clearness is almost digital... until you meet other people who didnt smoke it, you dont realize consciousness shift, but shift is radical LOL when you meet other people, just at moment you see them, you understand that you are in different reality... completely LOL
