Hi there,
has anyone experience with them?

I'm thinking of a guerrilla operation high in the Alps and was wondering how they would do at this latitude(47N, 1600-1900m above sea level).
The MalanaCream and NandaDevi should finish in october in the Himalayas, but on this latitude probably in november, just when the first snow arrives.

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Regards
Lol snow bud was Supposedly developed there. Dutch passion still has it.

Have you grown these in the past? They've caught my attention...
I've grown one Mango Thai and found an absolute gem of a plant. Currently germinating 4x Mango Thai #1 and 4x Mango Thai #2. I'm going to open pollinate and have seeds to dig through for years haha. There's photos in this thread of the original. And in other thread I imagine, I showed it off a lot haha

Lao sa, Mango Thai, highland Thai. Most of the SE Asian stuff I would say is good for breeding. But that also depends on what your goals are for breeding.
Good point about breeding goals. I would say my order of breeding importance is - character of high up and trippy/mildew mold free/powerful unique terps/bud structure trim friendly. Those recs all look stellar. Seems like the mango thai has gone through some deep selection in its habitat already. I love those tropical terps too!

Seconded on Highland Thai. (I've been growing the 2019 accession - the website says the more recent one is better). I've found lots of diversity of bud formation and terps, with various ginger/citric/musk/fermenting fruit smells, and an uplifting high (for the green phenos - the one example I got of the purple pheno felt more stoney to me). Only downside really is it takes a long time to mature, though I found some 15-16 week phenos.

I have ordered thru their vendor Kwik Seeds. Service and shipping was excellent. Germination rates were fair. I'm pretty damn good at germinating seeds, even those I made that are now 20+ years old. I did indicas this time and as luck would have it, out of 10 that I grew, only 2 ended up female.

Also ordered thru Mandala Seeds, which I highly recommend. Ace Seeds stuff. For you situation you might want to try this one. https://shop.mandalaseeds.com/products/erdpurt-x-pck?variant=40779890229292

"Erdpurt is an Afghani line developed in northern Europe, where it was selected for its quality, fast flowering and excellent adaptability against adverse conditions of northern climates such as rain, cold, and wind. Mildew and bud mold resistance is also high. Many Afghani strains are mold susceptible and difficult to grow in rainy areas, but ErdPurt x PCK can be cultivated up to 55°N and even withstands a few days of frost. It also produces well indoors or in warm and arid regions."

Check out the description.

Good luck,
Uncle Ben

Think a lot of collecting happens in border regions in SE Asia. I would imagine it gets pretty rowdy in border regions in SA where some of the old lines are grown with the narcos.
The SA's are only growing American Hybrids nowadays. Most probably comes from Columbia and Uraguay where it is being legally and commercially mass produced, or local. Maybe in some far corners there might still be some but it will only get much more difficult to find.

yeah imagine risking an expedition to columbian borders and finding some watered down poly's. Might have better luck finding those old lines in some red eyed grandpa's attic, in a piece of brick he forgot about in an old dusty copy of a furry freaks comic book

I have heard about those ginger terps a bit now. That sounds very interesting. Be great to hone in on a ginger pheno

Got the Dakshinkali and Rasoli Himalayan seeds today. Ordered the 14th of last month. I was gonna order again as I figured them lost. Held off last night and here they are. They do have a Nepal Mountain Ganja line now and that has my interest, new line. Malana is another I did not get, might be more relaxing than the other lines?

I have 9 lines from that area now and have grown out none. I may have grown out a few Nepal Highland from RSC in the past, not sure. Oh boy, the work is cut out for me. Not like I do not have lots of other lines to get to.

Looked in my seed stash and found I already had the Rasoli. hehe
