There must be some really good pure indica strains kicking around. They seem to be few and far between these days with all the hybridization that's gone on

Monster hybrid. Are G 13 and skunk pretty true breeding homozygous lines. I think I see some hybrid vigor going on!

Seems like hybridizaion is where its at though. Many say the best canabis is a comination of sativa and indica. Regular medicinal indica does get kind of boring, need a little sativa to adjust the terpene profile to maximize potency and effectiveness. Thats what I understand. Although pure indicas do have unique qualities and are important tools in the medicine bag.

The line I've been working on is getting fantastic since I went with a plant selection in 2017 that had a touch of sativa. The plant tasted like candy and was super potent one toke dry mouth stuff. That has carried through to now, but I still have some regular medical indica afghan type resin plants that have a little less hit on potency but are still good medicine.

Yeah, I absolutely agree with that. That was the original goal of the line, and I'm trying to steer it back toward the indica roots, but it started as a hybrid anyway. Hopefully OG Bub of Hill Temple Collective will be back, he was working several Inbred lines to keep valuable genetics preserved.

Without preservation good stuff is lost. Example: find pure Michoacan. You can't. Those fields were dosed with paraquat and indica replaced them.
The legacy of the 1970s American war on competition. Mindless useless destruction. Like the gas pipes. Sure made frustrated bureaucrats feel like they were doing “something” to make the people bend to their will. People replanted after the spray planes were gone.

reveg, it isn't a question of 'enjoying his weed'. We were discussing the loss of valid strains.

Perhaps you can take your judgmental labeling to another place?

It isn't a question of "discussing the loss of valid strains". This thread is called "Who's got the best afghan". Seems you went on one of your little tangents again mate. Perhaps you can give us your opinion on who's got the best afghan, or take your judgmental labeling of other users' crosses to another place?

Now brighten that grumpy face and dance with me until the world ends

Destiny F1 keeper. This is a cross of Gorilla Butter F2(WT) x (Ahaze bx x Mac). She's a skunky, Diesel gas pheno. A truly top shelf plant IMO. She is my fav plant.. These phenotypes seem to be common in the F1 seeds. I have a 2nd plant in flower from seed that looks similar. The f2's using her did not produce what I wanted.. There are Afgh expressions in this cross. The F1s are killer.

My favourite Afghan: the maple leaf indica clone I've been growing for the last few years. NLD afghan, more or less rare and not representative of the strain, and identified by other users as a "Ortega pheno" which can also be found in other sensi and Mr nice afghans. Very relaxing yet not incapacitating. Tastes like hash and sour fruit (apples?)

This summer outdoors

Another clone of her, growing indoors right now waiting to be pollinated by PCK males.
