sony cares more about their movie division, than the gamer one. why do you think they're pushing the blue ray format on ps3s. they've lost touch with the consumer. i mean come on, they released their system before anyone could make games. yawn

I totally dissagree on that one..... Sony didnt dominate the last 2 console gens for no reason....How buy bringing games out.......If anything Microsoft abandoned the last xbox way before the console war was over.....with the end result being no more xbox and no more games. leaving pissed of xbox owners me being the former with xbox's holding up tables and collecting dust.........Sony's ps2 is still kicking ass...and the damn thing is almost a decade old......This time around Sony was a little more risky with bringing out the blueray format and competing with the HD format...But the end result clearly shows that Sony took care of that problem and can now focus on games since blueray is in the bag......... :joint:

^^ ditto...aside from that sony machines are HUGE...talk about clunky LMAO :muahaha: i have a couple of friends with both, the ps3 is pretty much relegated to just playing blue ray movies and to play the ps3 exclusives : metal gear and gran tourismo(both of which are nothing special at all) the 360 isnt deficient in any way...its just DIFFERENT lol how ever i do notice the xbox 360 has a huge lead in this poll

What are you kidding the xbox controller is much more aesthetically pleasing.

Pretty easy decision to pick up a 360. You were able to start gaming a long time before the PS3 even came out, and when the PS3 came out there was no reason to even buy a PS3 because it looks practically identical. Horrible move on Sony's part.

Whaaaaaaaaaat plz show me how are they identical.....developers are now raving on how powerful the PS3 is and that the 360 is already outdated hardware......The PS3 was quoted at a gaming website selling more units in a year than what the 360 sold in a year.....Also not to mention the 360 was the first next gen console to come out and had noooooooo competition whatsoever....and lets not forget that the PS3 hardware is more advanced than the 360 has blueray,wi fi and free online and cost the same as a basic 360 system with a 20 gig harddrive.........that offers you nothing but a nasty red ring of death so Microsoft can squeeze even more money from ya pockets.....

And yes I said it the 360 controller is clunky the only advantage it has is in first person shooters its a little better than the dual shock in that....but for other games is stellar......

nycd sorry bro but there are way more games coming out for the PS3 this year than just metal gear 4 and gt5....... :wave:

Crazy mad rep for ya on that one thats what I was looking for pssssft and they said that Sony isnt focusing on games........... :muahaha: and even though some of the games on the list are multiplatform......a very good portion of those games are exclusive......Rockstar for the record has gone saying that they have a secret playstation 3 game that will be revealed to all and its not La.Noire or the next gta........In the last PSM mag the farcry 2 developer was quoted saying that the PS3 is an amazing piece of hardware that once you tapp into the power of it you can easily compare it to high end gaming pc's....withought the cell processor and the 7 multi spe cores it would have been impossible to create Far cry 2......Another quote was from the Ghostbuster developer saying that they wanted to keep it exclusive to the PS3 because the 7 multi tasking processors worked really well and felt that the 360's 3 cores were limited.......hmm? maybe outdated hardware huh?....Lucas arts also said that from now on they would create all there games first on the PS3 then port to the 360 because of the hardware limitations on the xbox 360........and said that developers will soon start following this type of business practice to create the best possible games...seems like developers are witnessing who is the superior console now..... :laughing: Oh and one last thing Sony has the largest group of 1st party developers in the business....not even nintendo can keep up with there internal studios who create games only for Sony platforms....... :wave:

360. Its controller wins BY FAR, sony is using an outdated design that's from about 10 years ago and I haven't liked it since it came out. Too light, not enough resistance on the joysticks and not ergonomical at all. And microsoft's got many more exclusive games, GTA IV is one of the first really good games to come to the PS3. The only problem Microsoft could encounter is space, you don't exactly have much space for stuff on a DL disc. BTW GTA is great, lol I played it 4 days before it was released, it was leaked and my neighbour has a modded 360.

i don't like xbox...never have....i bought a 360 and it was a waste of money....i own the 360 and the ps3 and i don't ever play the 360.

ps3 plays better movies and doesn't charge u to play online....360 is pretty much good for nothing

ps3 hands down!!! free online, games are fine!, better controllers than xboxs and has blueray!!! Oh and they NEVER break!!! everyone that i know who has a xbox theirs has broke...

There controller is decent but Sony lives by the if it aint broke dont fix it motto and I agree with them the dualshock 3 is flawless....imho......What many more exclusive games due you speak of plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz elaborate ? I can only think of a few? :joint:

Well its kind of obvious its going to be leading in games and in sales.....it only had a year head start on the PS3.... :bashhead: But whats funny is that the gap is slowly but shorly shrinking.....and the Xbox flopped in japan again and the PS3 is taking over the sales in europe and with the Gta 4 bundle they have going on over there Sony will deff start pushing more consoles than the 360......its already showing......Not to mention all the triple AAA games coming out this year for it.....
