I have no idea, and I mean it.

When I try to search out the origin of my sort of unique name, I can't really find anything. I think my last name is some butchered version of a European name that contained most of the alphabet. Must have happened a long time ago as my great grandfather was born in the US in the 1800s.

I was born in the United States, so I guess that makes me a native American (not to be confused with a Native American).

I'm a fucking mutt or loving known as a kunt. If that doesn't clear it up then the best answer is European I suppose.

My answer to the gov't asking this question has been "white canadian, of white european lineage, descended from black African ancestors". We are all descended from African ancestors, so we are all at least part black. The white only came from lack of sun exposure which activates melanin.

Genetically (traceable, anyway) I'm 1/2 Polish, 1/4 Swedish, 1/4 Irish.

Family (adopted) 1/2 English, 1/4 Irish, 1/4 Italian

My kids have Italian last name, with relatives all over the globe.

My wifes family has roots here back 150 yrs or so - her grandfather was born in 1860's, and was in his 60's when my late father in law was born. She is 1/2 English/Canadian, 1/2 Sicilian.

my ethnicity is mostly persian. i'm caucasian/white. I used to have redish blond hair as a kid and on my full persian family I have family with blue eyes and blond hair / red hair.

canada however places west asians (persians, turks, armenians) as "visible minority" meaning they are caucasian but some of them are not "white in color" which is really stupid. If you are west asian and in the commen box write down "west asian / white" then you will be counted as white.

i'm white and so are a lot of west asians like armenians and turks. in the U.S west asians just get classified as white.

so I consider my self caucasian and white racially.

some europeans like sicilians and some greeks are also definately not white in colour yet they just get classified as white in canada without having ot fill in the option box saying "white".

if I go tell people that I'm "west asian" they'll look at me weird as people just consider me white but I don't look like the typical western euro white guy. people always assume i'm italian, jewish, armenian but I don't care....... people go by stereotyped looks.

All around mutt though I wished I were one. I kinda feel like being such a mutt tends to leave one wondering where they belong. Not that I would only associate with say "italians" if I was fully italian...Well maybe italian was the wrong group to use as they do for many stay within their own little italian friends.

Many people either think I'm spanish or at the very least speak it. Even though most who know me say that I look totally different than someone of Spanish descent (but was that their opinion before they got to know me??) It's kind of annoying since I don't have any spanish in me as far as I know. Now considering that It's either a complimenting or a degrading remark, I'll leave that option up to you (possible third answer here)

I'm sure I'm just rambling here as I can't sleep which has caused me to smoke on this fine herb while listening to the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack.

Good fucking times:rasta:

i think the by the content of theses posts prejudice is rampant

IMO that mindset is the most immature, belligerent and most or all completely American

but i got a funny story about karma for ya

my brother got into a fight over warren moon, seems ppl thought he wasnt qualified for the NFL cause his skin color

it works into an alteration, my brother pwns them and holds one out a moving train

gets arrested

they all were being held, chief of the railroad police comes by asks what happens

as fate would have it he was black and i think he may have been a warren moon fan

my brother went home, they went to jail (for attacking my brother in the first place) justice was served

if racism was right or just in the eyes of man and god we woudl be an Aryan nation, but were not, cause like many other defects in evolution racism is not meant to be a lasting force in the greater scheme of humanity

one piece one love one understanding to all the people of the world

and deep sincere sympathy for those who are so afraid of others all they can do is hate

hate and love don't coexist very well and i like a life filled with the latter

my ethnicity

my grandparents all immigrated from Europe

primarily Spanish (Mom) and Italian (Dads Dad) with some German and English (Dads Mom)

my family were all very ethnic but came here to find new lives and new opportunities

very ethnic has its own feel and flavor but in the end the love for family is all the same

ethnicity [(eth-nis-uh-tee)]

Identity with or membership in a particular racial, national, or cultural group and observance of that group's customs, beliefs, and language.

Note: Many minority groups in the United States maintain strong ethnic identity; especially in cities, immigrants are often attracted to ethnic communities established by people from their own country, communities in which many traditional cultural features are maintained. (See melting pot.)

My father is mostly an unstabilized white hybrid. My mother is mostly an unstabilized black hybrid. I grew up with "pure" landraces who called me names. Does that make me, god forbid, a Hermie?
Much props to the alien with the Romulan and Vulcan genes. Just light a fattie if you want to zoom to outer space & visit your relatives. Live long and prosper, bro (dude).
Damn you'd thunk they had the world DNA map done already!
